Any entire decade yet so many characters from this gen? No snake? No Arthas? No Illidan? I deleted alot of the filler garbage they had on that list. Infact alot of it was bad.

Master Chief is easily the most recognizable character of the last decade. Drake at number 3 doesn't make sense because his debut was 2007, John Marston... oh my.

Bonnie MacFarlane makes no sense at all. I miss Marcus Fenix, since he's one of my favorite characters, and Meat Boy.

I do like GI, but that list is horrible.

Those lists are the cheapest way they find to stimulate reader's curiosity, poor journalism in my opinion. I can only imagine the criative process; some worker in the magazine shouts to another:"Hey Bro gimme 30 names so that i can finish this article!"; "Try these!". And there you go, grab a poorly made drawing, put it in the cover and you got yourself a magazine.

To be fair I never did play Heavy Rain. From videos alone it looks really boring. Phoenix Wright should've been near the top, but this isn't about how good they were but defined it. I don't understand how that overrated Portal villan is rated at #1. Don't get why its so popular.

What I'd love to know is, where is Samus? Did somebody forget her revival in 2001 that spawned a sub-series? Did they forget the massive critical and financial success? Not to mention they're just darn good games?

She pretty much never breaks her tone except during romance scenes. She. Always. Sounds. PISSED.

Everytime someone mentions GlaDos as the best charecter I sigh. Yes she is a funny,evil robot that uses you as a lab rat, I enjoyed her in the game, but best charecter of the DECADE? No, she is very..one key, hell even Reznov of CoD is more complex, I mean he is an honorable (in the Soviet Soldeir sense) warrior that fights for the glory of his motherland and leads his troop sto victory countless times, while trying to make a relucant soldier kill, only to mourn his death at the end and realize that Chernoz was right about some things ( I believe thats his name). He is then betrayed by his country and uses twisted manipulation to ,which is uncharectestically unlike him, seek revenge and avenge Dimitri...I enjoyed Reznov's charecter much more, but of course to each their own.

Also.....Bonnie Mcfarlen, wtf? That is so filler, when I am100% sure there are better charecters, even in th game itelf!
