Ok, I just read Johnny U's biography, and it made me really appreciate his talent. So my question is now, who would you rather have have as a Quarterback?

No Joe Montana or Elway?! I want a QB that will win SBs. And that's Montana and Brady.

Dan Marino...I think the only reason why he didn't win any Super Bowls is that he didn't quite have the good supporting cast around him.

There weren't enough slots to put Joe Montana and John Elway. And Johnny Unitas won three championships, in '58, '59, and Super Bowl V. And the '58 Championship game was the game that made Professional Football popular.

Tom Brady hands down the guy can win games and he doesn't need probowl talent around him unlike others but and you can say "hes just a good system QB" well do system QBs lead the league in passing in 2005? and do they consistently put up great numbers each season?  I know I might be just saying this because im a Pats fan but thats just who I would take.

Hey don't get me wrong I love those other guys and I respect the hell out of Peyton Manning (and his commercials).  I would take Tom Brady but I guess you could say I'm being a little bias here.

Joe Montana.

Who else could win a game in 2 seconds? (*ref. 2 sec. miscalculation play)

Even though he isn't on the list, John Elways. The guy was incredible and im glad I got to see him play some games when I was younger. One of my favorite quarterbacks of all time.

Unitas or Marino. In their prime they would utterly dominate these salary cap teams.

If Dan Marino was surrounded by half of the talent in his day that Manning currently is, he would statistically be head and shoulders above everyone.

As far as working with what you've got and pure talent go, give me Marino anyday.

That would be a loooooong game with the other team constantly being penalized for hitting a kicker.

Just an "Other" option would be great since Namath was good but is mainly remembered for the fact that he guaranteed the game and won. Personally, I would go with Steve Young because he is a stud! He had one of, if not THE, greatest year any QB has ever had (it was their 94-95 Super Bowl year)! So yeah, take someone off and put "Other" on there and then I'll vote.

Elway? He threw more INTs than TDs for a good portion of his career. He didnt win anything until he got a 2000 yard rusher.

Honestly if I have any of those guys as QB on my team then I'm not really thinking much about my QB, I'm set there. I'm worried that I have no WRs or something ;)

Yep, Tom Brady equals most overrated quarterback in the NFL.  Even a CFL backup could be a "great" quarterback on that team!

ummm....it's more like a CFL backup could be a "great" quaterback for the colts. That team had for years, one of the best WR tandem in the league and arguably the best reciever in the league with Marvin Harrison. while tom brady had givens and branch who weren't even great until brady molded them into to good recievers. Just look at givens in tennesse. without brady, he's nothing.|

But every team in the league has 1 or 2 exceptional recievers.  I'm not saying that Manning is not overrated.  I think he is, but only a little.  I think Brady is much more overrated.  As a whole, the Patriots have had a much better team, apart from the quarterback position than the Colts.  Brady doesn't suck, but he is not even remotely as good as everyone makes him out to be.  Payton, while not the best QB ever, like many people are saying for some odd reason, probably is the best QB in the game today.
