Apparently Roy Moore's wife reused an old endorsement letter with a bunch of pastors' names attached to it as a show of support after the allegations. It seems that the pastors weren't asked about their current endorsement or if their names could be used

Your line of thinking was sound up until the last sentence. No one is arguing for the moral virtue of men in extreme seats of power. President Clinton. MLK. JFK. FDR. LBJ.
