We both know Democrats will not be converting Trump supporters by changing their tone. I will never convince JimB that global warming isn't an evil liberal hoax, for example, by calmly presenting him with facts.
We know this because that's been done (and people still, to this day, continue to beat their heads against that wall).
Trump supporters are not a hive mind, just like Democrats are not all NPCs. Just because it may not work on some doesn't mean it won't work on all of them.
