A moocher is the defenition of being on Welfare. Blue states are the welfare states, Thus blue states are the moocher states. Receiving federal funding for infrastructure isn't mooching. Wellfare is the defenition of socialist and mooching and that's all on blue states.
All studies and fact checking sources on this matter disagree with you, BlackHairedHero. There is no official data set that shows the opposite.
Red States are the Moocher States going by literally all data on this topic. They use the most Federal aid per person yet pay the least taxes and have the least GDP. Please stop attempting to alter reality BHH. Those Blue states you keep whining about pay for themselves, where as Red States DEPEND on BLUE STATE FUNDING. Whether you like it or not, USA has some strong "socialist" policies. Ones that benefit Red States far more:
AP FACT CHECK: Blue high-tax states fund red low-tax states
THE FACTS: https://www.apnews.com/2f83c72de1bd440d92cdbc0d3b6bc08c
Connecticut residents paid an average of $15,643 per person in federal taxes in 2015, according to a report by the Rockefeller Institute of Government. Massachusetts paid $13,582 per person, New Jersey paid $13,137 and New York paid $12,820. California residents paid an average of $10,510.
At the other end, Mississippi residents paid an average of $5,740 per person, while West Virginia paid $6,349, Kentucky paid $6,626 and South Carolina paid $6,665. Low-tax red states also fare better when you take into account federal spending.
Mississippi received $2.13 for every tax dollar the state sent to Washington in 2015, according to the Rockefeller study. West Virginia received $2.07, Kentucky got $1.90 and South Carolina got $1.71.
Meanwhile, New Jersey received 74 cents in federal spending for tax every dollar the state sent to Washington. New York received 81 cents, Connecticut received 82 cents and Massachusetts received 83 cents.
California fared a bit better than other blue states. It received 96 cents for every dollar the state sent to Washington. On average, states received $1.14 in federal spending for every tax dollar they sent to Washington. That’s why the federal government has a budget deficit.
Red state are the takers, Blue states are the makers. Going by ALL known DATA.
In 2015, for example, New Jersey got back only 74 cents in federal spending for every tax dollar its inhabitants sent to Washington, according to the Rockefeller Institute of Government. New York got back 81 cents on the dollar, Connecticut 82 cents and Massachusetts 83 cents.
But when you turn to the red states, it's the opposite. Mississippi received $2.13 for every tax dollar that its inhabitants sent to Washington. West Virginia received $2.07, Kentucky: $1.90 and South Carolina $1.71.
Taking the Trump administration's expansive view of the meaning of "welfare" to its logical conclusion to include all those benefiting from federal spending, this means blue states are sending welfare to red states -- the same red states that say they don't like welfare.
FACT CHECK: 'Red State Socialism' graphic says GOP-leaning states get lion's share of federal dollars
https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/jan/26/blog-posting/red-state-socialism-graphic-says-gop-leaning-state/
Many GOP-leaning states get more in federal funding than they contribute in federal taxes.
That's the point made by a graphic that’s circulating on the Internet, titled "Red State Socialism." A reader recently pointed us to it and asked us to check it out. The chart suggests that Republicans are hypocritical for bashing the federal government and federal spending, when Republican-leaning states are reaping the lion’s share of federal dollars.
New Study Finds 14 of The 15 Biggest ‘Moocher States’ Are Republican Controlled
As much as red states hate the federal government, they never complain about the level of other taxpayers’ dollars the feds send to Republican states to accommodate state laws that keep wages low, poor people hungry and unhealthy, and state income and corporate tax rates lower than the rest of the nation. In fact, it is reasonable to compare American taxpayers feeding, housing, and providing healthcare for Walmart employees barely surviving on low slave wages to red states inordinately collecting federal tax dollars to make up for low state tax rates primarily benefitting corporations and wealthy residents.
The evidence is overwhelming. Why are you trying to say all available facts and data on this topic are wrong?

PS: I'm also not a socialist scumbag
If you live in a Red State you are a socialist scumbag. Sorry bro. Facts are facts. They also love socialism for Farmers, as Trump has shown.
Trump's Road to Socialism
"After all, Trump’s tariffs are not only a new tax for Americans, but a policy of directly picking winners and losers in the economy. The interests of steel workers, for example, are being placed above the interest of consumers and farmers. This leads to the government using tax dollars to prop up farmers. Of course this spending means that tax-paying consumers are hit yet again, with their tax dollars being used for this new welfare program.
Government interventionism doesn’t simply stop there. The natural result of these new government barriers is for businesses to seek ways around them, such as Harley’s decision to move some manufacturing to Europe. This, of course, sparked backlash from President Trump, threatening further retaliation for such a move. As we've seen time and time again, the more Trump digs in to his support for protectionism, the more he will seek to interfere with the actions of individual companies."

@zaryia: Republicans love socialism when it means others are paying for them.
Indeed. They'll pretend they hate handouts, even though they mooch the most of said handouts.
It's a real nasty political party.
