What type of Gamer are you?

Whats your favorite genre. I have played every single genre on that list and by far my favorite game ever is LBP so i went with other. If your having trouble deciding just think of what your favorite game is and that should get you the answer. That favorite game could be from a different system, non exclusive or exclusive.

I like all types of games, I love games like Oblivion and Fallout 3, Love horror games like all the Resident Evil games, Eternal Darkness and Dead Space, love Tomb Raider Games, The Lord of the Rings: The return of the King, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Prince of Percia, Soul Calibur, Metal Gear Solid, Resistance, Warhawk, Grand Theft Auto IV, Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, Litte Big Planet...I think I don't like sports games.

Shooter, fighter, action.

I just like a solid game.

I would refuse to play a FPS until the PS3. I was so sick of them being brought up on DOOM, Wolfenstein. ect.

Then Socom came around and I was glad I didnt feel like a horse IN blinders.

3rd persons are rare again. Dark Sector was awesome, but FPS hooked me again with the COD;s and Killzone looks sick

RPG's are by far my favorites. JRPGs in particular, however oddly I tend to play more shooters these days. But Final Fantasy X, XII, and VII, and Lost Odyssey are some of my favorite games of all time. I'd follow this up by the MGS series (yes I'm giving it it's own genre, you could say stealth action genre but the MGS series is the only stealth action series I like. I don't like Splinter Cell). Action adventure games like God of War and DMC4 are next, followed by shooters.bluem00se

I'm RPG type gamer, only JRPG. Me and WRPG don't mix well.

Like these type of games, in order:

1. JRPG

2. Action

3. Other

4. Tactical Shooter

I tend to avoid this type of games:

1. FPS (hate this)

2. Sport game

3. WRPG

I like every kind of game, and I'm growing tired of first person shooters since most of the games coming out to 360 and PS3 are FPS and with the same aesthetic.

I classify myself an adventurer. A good single player game with decent length is the right one for me. It can be a turn-based strategy or RPG like Final Fantasy (series proper, Tactics, etc.), or an action-oriented game like Devil May Cry or God of War. As long as multiplayer isn't the lion's share of the game's focus and is fun to play, it's my kind of game. I picked Role Playing. Of course, like most gamers, I don't limit myself. I play fighting games, unrealistic racers (Mario Kart, Wipeout) and even the occasional shooter if I'm truly bored...but they don't hold my attention as long as single player adventures do.

Action-adventure with sword/blade weapon, real-time rpgs, third person shooter, and platformer.

I hate FPS and turn-based. Hehe.
