I pretty much only play shooters and action adventure. I'm better at action adventure games but I spend more time playing shooters because of online play
I don't really have one specific genre to be honest but I lean a little towards Role playing games, regardless if it's Western or Japanese title. Most of the time they offer enjoyable story and many hours of gameplay and they are worth spending hard earned money on.
However, I pretty much play anything. If I have 30 minutes to an free hour - FIFA or NBA games are my choice. I'm surprised by the way that you didn't include sports games. ;)
Otherwise, little but of everything. Depending on the mood. ^_^
For me, i'm more of a FPS/Third Person Shooter fan but i am also a big fan of action adventure, too bad that there aren't any good JRPGs on PS3..(i know that Fallout 3 is an incredible RPG but its too massive for my taste)...otherwise i realy do enjoy good RPG games..heck i am just about to buy both Persona 3 and 4 since i have one of the early 60GB Ps3 with full BC.
Well I like playing games from every genre but in particular I love fighting and action games. My fav genre has to be hack-n-slash since I have more favs in that genre then any other and the fact that I enjoy GOW series immensly. I guess that would go under the action/adventure genre in your poll :D
Whats your favorite genre. I have played every single genre on that list and by far my favorite game ever is LBP so i went with other. If your having trouble deciding just think of what your favorite game is and that should get you the answer. That favorite game could be from a different system, non exclusive or exclusive.

a little bit of everything.., i appreciate any kind of game.. well i have these games: mgs4, gta4, uncharted, assassin's creed, resistance 1, spider-man 3, the bourne conspiracy, fallout 3, nba 2k9, grid, carbon. up 2 u 2 judge me what kind of gamer i am:)
A indie and flash loving gamer that also enjoys Western and Japanese RPGs,casual fighting game fan and loves pollished games.Originally a FPS lover with my very first game bieing Half Life 1 and still sorta enjoy that Ganre to this day.
I don't like to tie myself down to a single category, but if I absolutely had to choose then I'd say Third-Person Shooter. But all in all I'd say I'm seperated something like this: Third-Person - 40% First-Person - 25% RPG - 10% Action/Adventure - 15% Fighter - 5% Sports 5%
i cant really choice just once of em, i mean i like abit of everythin, alil shooter here and there, lil platformer, alil street fighter, role playing, u know? i dont want just one type, cuz it gets borin fast
Old school RPG's are what got me heavy into gaming at an early age. SNES RPG classics like Final Fantasy III and Chrono Trigger remain my favorite games of all-time. I enjoy every genre, but RPG's are my favorite, this includes traditional RPG's and MMORPG's.
