hate to break your heart, but this idea has floated around these forums for a long time, if you search for it you should find one, i know i've read atleast 3 topics on this in the last 8 months

It's not a bad idea, and I won't be surprised if something of the like is already in development. As for the characters, I'm almost certain they'll all be Sony first party characters to be included.

lol theres only 8 hardcore shooter characters in there...but there are alot of action adventure characters with shooting in them

i really like the idea of jack and daxter vs rachet and clank. i also think the ff people are a great idea. as far as the shooters go u gotta have logan and snake(i know mgs is not a shooter but he has a gun) mabe nathen hale. kratos is perfect i even think drake works really well, he stood out to me when i read the list. kai would be fun so would nuriko my only question is who is going to be the big guy....the DK or bowser of the group. maby that dam auger chimerian or something.barrett33

yea im just a little hesitent about putting a character from a fighting game into another fighting game.. ya know.... lol we are talking like the game is in development. haha but i think it would seriously be bad ass. a good mix of 3 generation of PS. crash might be a good character to rep ps1. he could do that hurricane spin move thing. lol

there could be some bad ass maps to. like in ssb they fight on fox's ship. dude a fight on the shagohod. cmon that would be sick. other great maps could be loke a killzone city. R&C city. and whatever the greek mythology heavenly city place is called would be cool to rep kratos. there are alot of possibilities.

don't you remember clank turns big in (i think) going commando and up your arsenal. you forgot the sack boy :) (LBP) but yeah I would so play and buy this game.

even if it was 3rd party nintendo does not like to share its characters. it would be impossible to get the rights from them. and not saying anything bad about halo cuz its a great game. but the name master chief mean $$$ and i dont know if it would be worth it in the end to fork over the cash for the rights. it would be easier now that bungie is independent but still that name means money

Well you really stretched that list but there are enough good ones in there to make a game out of it. Although the Nintendo characters have the cartoony style that fit this type of game more but hey. I think it would be a nice change to see Kratos a bit cartoonish and not the serious bad muther efer he isPablo620
