It's a shameless copy, yes, but damn that's a lot of games. Great work for the original poster at Neogaf. Check it out here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=472361

*** EDIT***

I'll make small corrections of the list later. Right now I've just copied everything and I haven't done anything to make it compatible with the forum of gamespot.:)

I'm actually extremely interested in NFS: Most Wanted. Not because I'm a Need for Speed fan(I'm not), but because it's made by Criterion, and it seems to revisit a lot of the ideas from Burnout Paradise. Plus, it's one of as-yet rare cases where a publisher simultaneously releases a Vita version of their game alongside the major consoles. We need more of this, and I mean beyond the 3DS ports of the LEGO Games. Those are lazy, and as much as I love the Lego games, I can't support those kinds of ports.

I'm worried about Dragon's Crown. Grand Knights History for the PSP was slated for localization, and that game was also by Vanillaware. Dragon's Crown was also dropped from XSEED, but Atlus became its new publisher. Crossing my fingers that nothing else goes wrong.

Some neat looking games there. Also a lot of ports. Some of them in particular (Oddworld stuff, Jet Set, etc) worry me because they'll likely be - or have been confirmed - $40 releases where they're $10-$15 on consoles/PC already. That's a lot of Vita tax. The one that makes me the saddest is Wizorb. It NEEDS touch controls but I believe because it's a Mini it's designed around the PSP's inputs. It's a fantastic game that plays really well on a mouse but with a dpad it's more awkward than it should be.

Im not worried. Atlus is publisher so it will allow VW to make the best game possible. Doesnt mean that i think xseed doesnt have the money/time to do it but they are really open to localizing new ips. They want to take small risk over here.

EDIT: forgot to stay on topic. Great list just too much pics. All those who say that the vita doesnt and wont have games are sorely mistaken. It takes a year or too for new platforms to hit there stride. And the vita looks like it will easily sprint to that goal by this holiday season and early 2013

XSEED and Atlus are well-known for localizing rather obscure titles to the West, and I applaude them for their work. I'm just curious as to why XSEED decided to drop both Vanillaware titles. I'm sure they have their reasons, but they're passing up a stellar oppurtunity.

I couldn't be bothered because people will just be "lol ports" or "lol no system sellers", but Atari have made a similar thread, although I don't think it features the full list. And yeh NFS is coming to the Vita, I remember is being mentioned in a trailer :)

Grand Knight's History was dropped because Vanillaware is just too busy with Dragon's Crown. And Dragon's Crown was in the hands of Ignition, not XSEED, before it switched over to Atlus.

Ohhh right, it was Ignition. My bad. I thought they both titles were in the hands of XSEED. Regardless, I want Dragon's Crown.

Good job TC, honest. Sadly though, it gives me little reason to buy a Vita. ...which is sad, considering the fact I think the hardware is great But Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD can be played on my PS3 same with Zone of Enders Collection same with FFX Growlanser IV: Wayfarer of Time can be played on my PSP same with Ragnarok Tactics The only Vita game that interests me is Malicious Rebirth The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki - Evolution is not confirmed for localization

Nice list, but still not enough interesting games for the Vita for me to buy it. Some of those JRPGs that you have listed have not been announced for localization yet either.

Alot of games actually. And i thought there was like no more to release.

Now, the only game that i'l be getting soon is LBPV. Then it will be a long run until good games. I will get probaly AC, even thought i didnt bother to play the series on the PS3.

But i really want KZ, because i like KZ series.

Oh yeah im going to play this game so hard. I played all the DJ max portable psp games and they are very import friendly. So even if it doesnt get a US release you can import it no problem and still understand it all.

That is an impressive list, but most of the good ones are ports and I still don't see any real defining exclusive. Not that I mind, a lot of those titles I'm willing to play on my Vita.

thank you for the list. quite a few games for vita I for damn sure definently wanna pick up.

  1. Assassin's Creed 3 : Liberation
  2. Call of Duty : Black Ops Declassified
  3. Sine Mora
  4. Persona 4 : Golden
  5. Little Big Planet Vita
  6. Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale
will likely get:
  1. Zone of Enders HD
  2. Final Fantasy X HD
  3. Guacamelee
  4. Shoot Many Robots

i'm curious about:

  1. Malicious
  2. Virtue : Last Reward

seriously what the hell are those two about?

i'll keep on eye out on Big Sky Infinity, and Cobalt Runner.

now you can easily point out that the games i want are multiplatform or ports. but 1. i've never played em'. 2. i need more games on my vita that don't have a compromised vision (looks at Resistance Burning Skies story and enemy AI, and Lego Batman 2 DS porting).

haven't seen or heard what Bioshock will be like for Vita, so i withhold judgement, Dragon's Crown is curious looking, Killzone i'm weary after how Resistance turned out, and i like Killzone universe a lot less then i liked Resistance. not interested in the slightest for Ruin, and i do not get what the appeal for Soul Sacrefice. why is there so much chatter about Soul Sacrefice?

oddly enough with the sexism arguements going on the video-game internet, and finding myself harping those lambasting those criticising women portrayal. Really i argue against what i see is easily offended and easily-found and interperted negativity (however small) in vast majority of female characters in games. the biggest put off for me with Dragon's Crown is that female barbarian. just sticks out like a sore thumb to considering the rest of the game. every time i look at it, i have that image in my head, and not in the sense "omg i gotta totally play that". game looks gorgeous, i love the artwork but can't seem to get passed that aspect.

If that's 5-10 combined PSN/Retail games where the majority are retail isn't.. bad ?

That Sine Mora game looks interesting. I'll have to keep my eye on it.

Looking forward to AC3:L, Black Ops Declassified, Sly 4, Sound Shapes, etc.

BUT WHEN IS LBP BEING RELEASED?

There is no firm release date, but I bet you that Sony won't let this slip and become a flop. Uncharted was obviously rushed, same can somewhat be said about Resistance, but LBP will be the first true Sony game to not feel rushed and actually deliver. That and Silent Hill was pushed from March 2012 to Fall 2012 so I also believe we might see a decent Silent Hill game. That's at least what I believe Sony is aiming for :0)

Oh and my guess is either fall or holiday (concerning LBP release date).

These games are catching my eye the most: Assassin's Creed: Liberation, Call of Duty: Declassified, Little Big Planet, Licious, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Cobalt Runner, Jet Set Radio HD, Orc Attack, When Vikings Attack, Soul Sacrifice, and Ruin. Any info on Bioshock or Killzone?

They won't start on Bioshock before the HD console game is done, so in a couple of years. I assume we'll see KZ Vita next year, either spring or fall. Just my guess though.

Awesome. I think KZ and Assassin's Creed will probably be all time favorites for me. A GTA and Battlefield would be awesome too.

Don't count on a BF game, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a Medal of Honor game. That would seem to fit more since I doubt large scale combat is good on the Vita. I wouldn't be surprised to see GTA launch next fall/holiday.
