FFXIII or FXIII versus?

If you had the choice and they each had their own seperate stories and everything which would you prefer to play at this point in time?

me, personally I would much rather have Versus... as great as both look i just think the characters and setting is cooler...

even tho we haven't seen much any of either game

any ps3 fanboy will say versus just basically to have something to clamour to until the game eventually is announced as multi plat as well. I dont care for either :)signore

Whatever... it may go multi may not... we will see.... either way shouldnt change your opinion of what you would prefer

If they bring back the Real Time battle sequences, I probably won't buy it, and definitely not at full price. If they bring back turn based battles, I'll buy it for sure.ash10692

Im confused, why are they making two different final fantasy 13s? Its two games THAT ARE THE SAME GAME but they are DIFFERENT! Like, regardless of whether they turn out good (which i kind of doubt im a bit skeptical of j-rpg companies nowadays) i think its bs that they are taking one game and splitting it in half for more money. You might as well have TWO metal gear solid 4s or TWO GTA 4s (one about nico's long lost sister in law's cousin in Prague). its just such an obvious scheme to make money without a care to continuation of any story or characters. they ruined ff7 with all its prequels and sequels and i'm worried they'll ruin this before its even releasedAnthonyCB

There really isn't any major information about neither of the games, if I had to chose from current trailers I'm leaning towards VS XIII simply because I find Prince very appealing as a character.

Regardless, both games are first day purchase for me.

FF13. I don't care about a side-game/spin-off/not core game whatever you want to call it more than the core title.

TBH the developers are so gung-ho about cutting the ties between the two titles that I really can't take V13 seriously as it's only FF in name really. Essentially what that leaves us with is an unknown quantity whereas FF13 will be good, even 12 hate it as you might was still better than a majority of it's peers.

Dilution of strategy goes hand in hand with emphasis on dexterity and mobility. The only examples are when moving doesn't actually make a difference as you'll sitll get hit...in which case the whole mobility aspect is a farce.
