take the advice that i was given...do NOT try and collect everything...the game is actually pretty long and if try and collect everything it really slows down the pace of the game and drags it on for far too long and you will end up becoming bored of the game

just go in and enjoy the visuals and all the messed up stuff

I recently finished that game, after buying at that same low price last Thanksgiving. It definitely is an enjoyable game and a must buy at that price. It's not the best game from 2011, but the art direction of wonderland is wonderful. Very much like the original, with updated graphics and some nice added touches. I found the combat better and more challenging than expected, as it often requires a small degree of strategy. The platforming was ok, but for this type of game it should have been more in this area.

Only game I am looking at is Beat Hazard, looks very interesting.

Steam beats Amazon for Sonic Generations. Also, what was Bastion for the weekend deal? Does this discount beat it?

Wow, I seriously didn't think Sonic Generations would be more than 50% off since the game was just released last month. I already got it on Amazon for $15, guess I should of waited.

What about TDU2? Is it better than the first?

I second this. I personally don't have the soundtrack since I bought the 360 version, but the music in the game is simply amazing

And im not the only one that hated TDU2...

Metacritic score for TDU1 = 82%

Metacritic score fro TDU2 = 66%

TDU2 is one of the worst games of this gen to me personally, but if you enjoy it then more power to you.

As for Bulletstorm, its decent fun for about 2 hours in coop and thats it, gets extremely boring and repetative after that, atleast for me.

And Bastion is one of the years best indie games imo, amazing music, great voice acting, fun gameplay and awesome atmosphere, loved it.

Bulletstorm is great from start to finish, gets even better later, you also bring generations into discussions, I'm not into that, TDU 2 is a great game that improves on everything in the genre that it created, if somebody wants to get it "for what it is, it's the best", you seem to dislike every great game this...gen, what's a gen, past 6 years?

I dislike all the great games yet I enjoyed Skyrim, Anno2070, Shogun2, witcher2m Terraria, Old Republic and Deus Ex HR this year? Try again dude, try again.

And here we go again.. people cannot have an honest opinion around here.. I liked Elemental more then Civ5 when I bought them, big deal? Some people like BUrgers more than pizza...

First its "You like crappy games like ALpha Protocol and Elemental" and now its "you hate all the great games like TDU2" :roll:

I have to agree with kozzy at least as far as TDU2 is concerned,I very much enjoyed the first one but thought the sequel was rather mediocre.

I disagree with Bastion though,I played it on the 360 and while its certainly not a bad game,I wasn´t too fond of it wich is why I still havent got it on steam,even though its quite cheap. .

I had TDU2 on XB360,And spent most of the time in the Casino!

Is Bastion any good gameplay wise.? I was watching some video and it looks pretty straightforward. Is there leveling, specialization, classes, etc? The graphics and soundtrack look really nice and supposedly the story is really good. Anything else I should know?Gooeykat

Sonic Generations for only $10 is a great price... I'm still considering it, even though I probably won't have the time to play it anytime soon. Too... many... games :D
