Im 20 and ive never been to a party, and im saving myself for marriage. Partying and getting drunk/smoking/doing drugs never interested me in the slightest when I was a teenager and it still doesnt. Im not saying I was a social outcast, I just chose not to waste braincells for so called 'fun'. Id rather just hang out with my friends any day.
Eh, I've drunk alcohol, but probably not evena quarter of the way enough to make me drunk, in fact, I've never been drunk. I could smoke, if I wanted to, I suppose, yet I chose not to. Sex...well..nah, I'm reserving that for later, lol.:P

We probably have slightly different cultures, but parties don't always include alcohol and whatnot, you know. Besides, if you do go to a party, and don't drink, no one really cares. They'd offer you, but if you say no thanks, they don't really care. IDK, either way it was good fun, both when I did drink, and when I didn't. *note in previous post that I said I drink only little.
i go to alot of parties where their is drugs and alchohol but i never tried any drugs its just not my thing as for alchohol i do drink but not in excess to get drunk or have a good time because being drunk is not my thing you dont need drugs and alchohol to have a good time. As for sex well i just not got round to it yet im saving it for the right girl but that does not mean the women i want to marry

there are a fair few teenagers who dont go out drinking or with girls... however I Am one of the teenagers who goes out... I drink a bit but have yet to get drunk. I havent had sex yet either...(im 15... 16 in a month)
yep, i know a 14 year old girl who got pregnant and just some 3 or 4 months after that happening to her, and me saying countless times not to have sex at such young age, she wants to have sex again... maybe she doesnt like me much and think i'm being the stupid one, therefore not following my advice...
What's with kids these days? All they want to do is fight, steal, cheat, have sex and do things that feel good... oh wait... this has been going on forever.
I'm a teenage and I think doing stuff like that really young is stupid. I'm not gonna drink or anything, and I'm not going to have sex 'til I'm at least 18.

Yeah its pretty stupid. I would never do it, but the hormones can take control of people, especially with the right amount of alcohol. A friend of a friend of mine just gave birth two months ago. Shes 16.
they just stand out so they make ALL teens look like it.. majority isn't like that.. i personally have no clue why, if it was legal I bet no one would care

Well, I can understand teenagers being interested in sex...I mean, it's natural. No matter how lil peer pressure you'll face you're gonna have urges. Drugs on the other hand..that comes from peer pressure. I guess that makes them feel more "adult".

Well my idea is that at such a young age, outside influences are much more prevalent on the mind than what you might define for yourself. For many people as a young teenager, cool is defined not by yourself, but by people who are cool. The urge to be socially accepted by your peers can dominate ones actions, and result in drinking or premature sex.
I don't drink, smoke, or have sex. I don't have a reason to need to do those things. I have reason to not do them. I rather keep the not drinking reason private because it's something I don't wanna talk about and I'm waiting for the right moment with the right person (whom I have found).
I was one of those teenagers, and come on...people don't do it because of peer pressure or to fit in, people do it because its a hell of a good time. What could be more fun than going to a party or a club with all of your friends, drinking a lot, getting high, and then having sex with some girl you just met that night? Not much. Sure, i know people say, "I can have fun without alcohol or drugs," and thats well and good, but it definitely isn't quite as much fun!
