Your college doesn't allow you to take several courses that don't go with your major? I guess purchasing a book would help as long as you remained persistent. They changed the name and added a mandatory course for fourth year, which is an extension of that statsitics course I have to take. The name doesn't really mean as much, but I guess now it makes it more obvious that its a mix of Business and IT :P.
Unforuntately, I can't take another programming course, as I'm not allowed to take any Computer Science courses (for some reason, they're not part of our professionally related courses).
The only option is to self teach lol.

There are some that are outside of our main focus, but those are more minors for things like Marketing, Law, Finance, etc. - We're not allowed to take any of the Computer Science courses, which is weird.
I was thinking that too, but I also have access to the school's eLibrary; I might make some use of that.
I'm trying to finish up the writing program at UCLA. At the end, we get told why we arent cut out to be writers, as well as a certificate printed on a tortilla. Cant wait.Allicrombie
damn, you're better off than me. at least if my music degree were on a tortilla I could eat it if I were hungry.

I finish up with my B.A. in History next May and then its off to grad school for an MPA

Cant wait.julian_jrI didn't know you were studying to be a writer there. :o more or less. I want to get a novel published one day, but that requires actually writing one first.

[QUOTE="Hitm4nH4rt"]Does that involve hacking and working against hackers?Well I'm currently an IT Security & Risk Analyst...so I guess I'll stick with that.
julian_jr
Does it involve hacking? Depends on many factors i.e. company, definition of role, etc
Working against hackers? Bet your life it does!

Realistically-Well earn a place as a management official after completing MBA and do the job with full knowledge of situations.I guess accentuation will follow as long as one is competent in doing what's he good at (Finance/Systems in my case) .So one should not try too hard but just do their present job with utmost efficiency as per his/her capability. In five years or so with enough industrial experience well who can say whither the road leads.
Fantastically-Develop Linux into an killer OS and form MacroHArd corp. (MH corp) and earning certain global giants as our competiton. We'll make Linux to do the things it was supposed to do but nobody cares since it is open source. We will be doing much more than the competition, and doing it at Bigger (Macro) scale and harder (at our profits) way. See we would be providing better solutions and services to consumers as compared to the competition and not charge unecessary $$$$$'s for it!
If we're even remotely successful, most PC users be seeing 1 of our competiton as Lemon(which it is today, but none dares to say so and calls it in another fruity name ) and the other as incessant plunderers (again none acknowledge that presently). That will be something!!!! :P
Ok time to wake up9from this illusion) and catch some coffee.....
