I don't know the worst.

Batman vs superman was quite painful,

all the star wars movies (including the older ones) were quite bad. Although I didn't see the last one.

James bond in general. I always liked more jason bourne.

All marvel movies were really awful , except guardians of the galaxy, thor Ragnarok and logan.

I saw part of twilight and lalaland, but slept through their second parts.

Prometheus was also quite awful.

But to be fair, i if have to pick the worst. Just anything with adam Sandler. That guy is the king of awful movies.

My girlfriend (now wife) wanted to see it. She lost movie choosing privileges for awhile after this one. So horrible.

Probably Terror Toons. Truly awful movie...

Meet the Spartans gets an honorary mention. Actually went to the theaters to see that garbage. It was funny because the entire room was actually filled with people. 1/4 into the movie, half the audience got up and left. 1/2 into the movie, about three quarter of that audience left with a few unfortunate stragglers wandering in. 3/4 in, about 95% was gone including those that came wondering in around the halfway mark. Only me and my dad stayed the full length of the movie, including watching the post credit scenes...

Justice League, saw it in theaters and me and my nephew walked out after the first hour. It was just so boring and tried to cramped everything in one film.

@johnd13: Yeah it's far from the worst movie ever, but it might be the worst Superman movie ever. The story and characters are just written so poorly and stupidly that I just couldn't enjoy any of it. Brandon Roth was a good Superman but sadly that wasn't even close to being enough to save this turd.

False. Superman IV is the worst Superman movie. And tied for Batman & Robin as worst ever.

Probably Sausage Party.

It's like a Pixar cartoon, but they swear.

From recent memory, The Dead Don't Die.

Slow and boring beginning. I thought the pace would pick up but that never happened.

Off the top of my head it would have to be Hobgoblins. Most bad movies I have seen are quickly forgotten. I have seen Howard the Duck and Supergirl but can't remember what happens in those films.

Allow me to refresh your memory...

Supergirl: Supergirl fights invisible monster, while the audience falls asleep.

Howard the Duck: Duck breasts are shown, Lea Thompson almost has sex with a anthropomorphic duck, and legions of children who watched it are emotionally scarred forever.

@hallenbeck77: The only thing I remember from Howard are the duck tits because when I watched that movie I was wondering if my parents accidently rented a raunchy sex comedy.

Probably He-Man and the masters of the Universe, though I didn’t know it at the time. Watched a feature on it recently, and it was truly awful.

@vfighter: Then allow me to do so.

*sips water, clears throat*

Even though Superman IV may be technically worse than III, (because Golan-Globus is notorious for making movies with no budget), it at least has a proper villain, and interesting, if not cheesy battles. Three is the worst film because:

1. Tons of terrible, nonsensical humor & jokes at the expense of the narrative. There's way too much dumb humor such as when the buxom blonde walks down the street and a car crashes into a fire hydrant and the driver almost drowns. Ha-ha, funny. Ugh.

2. There's no proper villain in the story. Robert Vaughn is a piss poor substitute for Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor--he's a generic businessman, who lacks the on-screen charisma of both Christopher Reeve & Richard Pryor. Even Pryor, who is a decent performer--particularly in dramatic roles--is wasted here as an accidental hacker genius who stumbles into being a computer genius. He's skiing off the side of a building in one scene--it doesn't make for a scary or interesting villain.

3. Wasted potential with the whole Evil Superman bit. I think that would have made for a more exciting movie, but instead of using that for the final act, it's in the movies second act, and the viewers are left with a weak final battle with Superman vs a computer that is ultimately uninteresting and boring.

Ultimately, Superman 3 is the worst Superman movie. No need to thank me.

If you want a good Batman vs Superman the straight to Blu-ray Dark Knight Returns part 1/2 are great. Miles better than Snyders gunk.

@DigitalNoodle: And that was a PG movie, not PG-13. Never knew potential duck sex & nudity was considered family friendly.

@hallenbeck77: It might have came out before PG-13 was created, Gremlins was the same way. It was rated PG and is one of the reasons why PG-13 was created.
