I was thinking about this the other day, and there are some pretty small, seemingly harmless things that really get under my skins for reasons I can't quite fully understand. For one, I HATE it when I have to repeat myself when having a conversation, especially I am only talking to one other person. secondly, I hate it when I'll mutter something under breath or think out loud about something, and someone else asks me to say what I just said, with a look on their face like I just put my nuts in their macaroni and cheese. I would tell them that I was just saying something to myself and THEY ARGUE WITH YOU AND DEMAND THAT YOU REPEAT YOURSELF.... ugh. what about you guys? anything that people do that gets under your skin?
It bothers me to no end when people say things soley to get attention. Like, you'll be talking about music or something and they mention how they're boyfriend just broke up with them and how sad they are or something like that.
It also bothers me when someone says something and you didn't hear them. So you say something along the lines of "What was that?" And they reply "You heard me!" No, I obviously didn't or I wouldn't be asking you to repeat yourself.
When people don't hold doors open for the person behind them. Likewise when you hold the door open for someone and they don't thank you. God that **** pisses me off. :x
I also hate the seemly new trend where everyone seems to get pissed off if you ever try to correct something incorrect they said or did. If you even suggest anything different they get all butt hurt.
when my butt sweats when people chew with their mouths open when people put sugar on already sweetened cereal when I can't get any privacy to 'do my thang' when I sit down on the toilet to handle my business and realize that there is no TP when bad rappers brag about how good they're lyrics are when the mods on gamespot get incredibly anal about following rules when my wireless adapter loses connectivity and I get booted from Xbox Live when people make lame jokes and I'm forced to use my fake laugh to appease them when I get job interviews only to be told that I'll be considered. If you're not gonna hire me then don't waste my frikkin time you douche. when I have to get up incredibly early in the morning to do something that really could have waited until later in the day. when I'm playing Halo 3 online and some idiot thinks it's amusing to betray a teammate when the U.S. justice system busts people for pirating media/software but let murderers and rapists go with a slap on the wrist when people make assumptions about another person when an idiot hurts themselves and feels the need to sue somebody or some company even though it was clearly their own fault That's about all for now. I'll probably have some more later on.

People that hold doors for me when I do not need them held is going to have to be a pet peeve of mine.
When you talk to someone and they don't reply/don't seem to listen and after a few failed tries you raise your voice they get mad and say something like "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!"
When my teacher gets really offended because I don't reply her greetings while she doesn't reply mine and I don't say anything about it.
When I ask for a hamburger/sandwhich without tomatoes and peackles and I bite it and there they are.
When I'm not being serious and people think I'm being very disrespectful.
-I hate being patronized, being talked down to like I'm a retard or 7 years old or something. -I hate when people worry about me or are concerned about me. I hate it and I don't appreciate the concern. I can take care of myself. -The third one, I won't say, but this is the one that is guaranteed to bring out my hostility full-force 100% of the time. Not kidding. I do NOT take this one and I will talkback to ANYONE who says it, even at the risk of getting fired. If my boss says it, and he has, I'll ****ing talk back to him and swear at him, and I have, because I do NOT take this ****.
I don't have many but the one's that I do have are rather pointless. Something I can't stand (for whatever reason) are people that let the wires to their headphones hang out everywhere, especially when they are white. I see people jogging or walking around town with those whit iPod wires hanging and flopping everywhere it just irritates me. I run the wires to my mp3 player up my shirt, all you can see are the ear buds in my ears and a bit of wire going into my shirt.
I don't know if people still do this in cities but I hated the people that would hang their cell phone around their neck and use it as an mp3 player. Not with headphones, but just turn the volume to full so everyone is subjected to a tinny low quality, distorted version of whatever garbage that person is listening to. That really pissed me off, back in England it was always chavs that were doing it so the music was terrible rap or drum n' base.

When someone points to their wrist when they ask the time...I don't point to my crotch when I ask where the restroom is. When I'm sitting at a bus stop and someone asks if the bus has come yet...If the bus had already come and gone I wouldn't be sitting here would I? Seriously though...stupid people annoy me. I can annoy myself sometimes.
I hate it when people talk out loud during a movie. For just an hour and a half, I'd rather watch what's going on than listen to anything other people say. They can talk about the movie after, but until then, they should STFU. :P

I hate it when people go in to my room and change anything atall, I hate it when people play on my save games (Paranoia I guess), Hannah Montana, and I hate it when people leave things (Dishes, biscuit rappers, etc.) lying around when they could just as easily be disposed of. :x God that really annoys me.
When people won't make decisions. My two best friends are horrible with this. They are usually in my group during AP Biology, which is a very fast-paced class where you don't have much time to sit and wait to decide on stuff. During labs, they will spend 10-15 minutes just staring at each other trying to figure out what decision to make, and usually I have to step in and just do something for them to even appear alive.
Funny that they are so bad with decisions, I was the one that had to freakin get them to ask each other out. They had liked each other for a couple months, and would both talk to me about it and make me the middle man between them, and finally I couldn't take it anymore and told them to stop sending me texts at the same time and just text each other. Now they're all happy. Yay. :|
Another pet peeve of mine is when people won't talk to you at all online, but then all of a sudden they IM you out of nowhere. Before they even say anything, I know they are doing it because they need something, and without a doubt the next message will be "Hey do you know the homework for...?"
And National Honor Society at my school is ridiculous. I was just accepted, and all it is doing is showing me that the "smartest" people in my school are the most disorganized bunch of people I've ever met. Grr!
Two of my top pet peeves: 1. You've just exited the freeway and stopped in the right lane in order to turn right. Some shmode pulls up in the left lane, way past the white line, in order to turn left. If you're like me you don't have x-ray vision so now you have to wait until the light turns green before you can turn right. 2. Why are you asking me IT-related questions when you know damn well you won't understand nor even care what the answer is. Just let me do what I have to do and quit bothering me so I can get your PC back to "I just want it to work" status, mkay?
Whenever the volume on anything (sterio, tv, etc) has numbers it must be set to an even number, or a number ending in five. :| It'll drive me insane if it's on like, 7, or 21, or, 33, or something like that. It just feels unorganized.
Also, when I put my books or papers down at school, it needs to be stacked from largest to smallest, and none of the edges can be hanging over eachother.
