@dave123321: Oh wow , I had no idea. Am I blushing?? I can never tell.
VERDICT : Mr K you need to play LOTR War in the North as you love rpg's, replaybility ( also got NG + with increased difficulty ) comes in playing as three classes (team ), mage, archer, dwarf. Tons of loots, side quests, fairly lenghty and above all LOTR lore :)
Guys I'm a huge LOTR fan and now you're making me want to play War in the North. Adding it to my list!
You won most under appreciated and it queen

Awww man, Dave! We've been trying so hard to keep it under wraps and you just tell her?! Have you any idea the damage you've just done?

ASAP ASAP ASAP :P
Going to give The Witcher another try; it's an annual ritual for me. Not sure why I want so badly to like the game and fail time and time again. Any Witcher fans up in here?
@Allicrombie: What did you enjoy on the first one? Maybe that'll help me get into it. I think the hype kinda ruined it for me. From what I heard from fans I was expecting this amazingly deep story and a mature tone but in the end all I got was a lot of breasts, a lot of booze and average storytelling. I think that I might have liked it if I had played it without expectations and maybe that's why I keep trying (The trailer for Witcher 3 actually looks amazing and if the systems work as they promise in that trailer it'll be quite enjoyable, so I really want to get through the first 2)
@korvus: I don't know, I liked the skill system, being bronze, silver and gold tiered skills, which made it somewhat unique and different. (They switched to more standardized skill trees for part 2). You aren't going to find amazing narratives, but that's like reading Dean Koontz and expecting Shakespeare (or even Stephen King). Besides, most gaming narratives are basically one form of good vs evil or another, but if you're lucky, sometimes you get a story with some interesting elements.
@Allicrombie: That's probably a good way to look at it. I think this time I'll take it slow and if I get sick of it instead of deleting everything I'll just leave it and resume whenever I feel like it.
Reinstalled Need For Speed Carbon (2006)...in my opinion it was the last decent NFS where it still felt fast and it was arcadey enough for me to go crazy. Too bad the resolution only goes up to 1280 =P
EDIT: Forgot about Undercover...that one was still decent and supports 1920 res.
I would get Mortal Kombat X tomorrow if I had a PS4. Perhaps I'll get a PS4 and the game by summer.
Meh I'll wait for Komplete bundle edition. Too many damn DLC, Goro preorder bullshit, and I just couldn't bring myself to pay $80. Hell I got other games to play in the mean time.
I still need to get N3DS so I can play Xenoblade.

I remember that game. Goddamn canyon races. (ノಥ益ಥ)ノ ┻━┻
@Storm_Marine: Boss Races on the canyons with other cars that have no other purpose than to ram you down the cliffside...
@Allicrombie: Pre-Congrats!
@indzman: The Last Remnant is an amazing game. Too bad it suffers from Suare Enix's usual "enemies scale with you" BS. What's the point of making a game and then encourage you to skip through as much content as possible in order to do a low level playthrough to avoid being screwed with no lube by the last bosses?

Yeah more you gain battle rank, more difficult enemies become lol. I'm still in early stage , BR 2. Will see if by getting better equipment if it becomes passable :)
Don't Pre Congrats me yet, Ive been like 2 trophies away from the platinum on dragon age for like a year =P
@indzman: Yeah, I tried that...I tried a boss, it was using level 2 skills, I almost had it but failed so instead of trying again I decided to do something else and completely forgot about the boss...I grinded for items, did quests, messed around with recruits and when I came back to the boss he used a lvl 10 skill that did 9999 damage to my whole team, all KO'ed...it was like FF8 Ultima Weapon all over again; the difference was that Ultima was an optional end game boss...this one was a mandatory boss halfway through the game.
@Allicrombie: Pre-Congrats withdrawn, for now =P
Elite starts off awesome, seems awesome, but gets repetitive really fast, unless they add significant content or shake things up for the XboxOne, it hasn't got much in the way of longevity.

I feel the same way about the X1. =P

That's a good point, but I don't think I could wait for that to come out. I think I'll just get the game once I get a PS4 (unless the Komplete Edition happens to come out shortly after I get PS4). I got all the DLC characters for MK9, and I plan to do the same for this game.

I got my copy this morning...it's even slower and more slugging than MK9...I've only played about 10 minutes but it felt like a chore...and that tiny roster...I dunno, maybe it's because I've been playing DOA5 but I really don't feel like firing it up again when I get home...also like how they said they were aware of the over-sexualization of their characters and were going to tone it down this year but then have this as a promo video on their front page...
@korvus: That girl could do with a better but... :P
Completely unrelated but you should play DOA XD
@horgen: They graduated to full T&A. When I install a game the first thing I do (and I assume most people) is going to the options and adjust stuff. When I installed DOA5 the first option I saw was "Breast Motion". Since I'm not a fan of DOA jiggle I set it to OFF, but then it looked like every girl had a cement block on their chest so I tried "Natural" and man those things were jiggling everywhere...not sure they know what natural breast motion is like...so I thought "if this is 'natural' I wonder what the 'DOA' setting is like" well, took me 2 seconds to regret it and have to try hard not to throw up...it was absolutely disgusting...it's like the removed everyone's breasts and filled the cavities with water...I've seen cannonballs in a pool that left less ripples than the ripples in those breasts...thoroughly disturbing. Can't imagine anyone being able to play with the game in that setting (although I'm sure there's lots of people who do)

Since I don't mind the speed of MK9, I'm sure I'll be fine with the speed in MKX too. Anyway, yeah, the roster could be better. Where are all the MK3 characters? Ermac is the only MK3 character in the roster. They also could have had a few more characters from the 3D MK games.
Started playing Jedi Outcast again, having bought it and loved it when it first came out, in retrospect to Dark Forces II, it isn't nearly as good.

Nice game...I liked Jedi Academy as well and still replay it every now and again.

Yea of Outcast and Academy, definitely prefer Academy. While Dark Forces 2 has terrible visuals, the level design is top notch.

Yeah, in my opinion Academy still holds now, although as a protagonist Katarn is better than your Acadamy padawan, but that's to be expected. I was actually hoping The Force Unleashed to be more on par with Academy...too bad. I'd like to see new games on Academy, KoTOR and Racer series.
Never played Dark Forces 2, though.
