Been replaying gta v on ps4 in first person mode. The first person mode feels fantastic and does give a new feel. Took me a little time to get used to driving, especially in hilly and the mountain off road sections, but got the hang of it. Played watchdogs recently and went back to playing gta and really noticed just how much rockstar puts into the details and world building.

You know i have two separate emails, and when i purchased Destiny, i purchased playstation plus for the wrong email. So i never got my million dollars for my GTA5 correct account. Sux. So i can't play online with my friends, even though i have plus. Well unless i add them to the new account, but it does't have all my things, cars, money, condos, and weapons. So messed up. Any how, thought i'd ask. Is there a way to unite two accounts that are two separate emails to one ? probably not ey? Agh ! Frustrating, lol ..

I just finish up with The Order: 1886 yesterday and I got to say that I enjoy it, the characters were interesting, London settings was beautiful, and the graphics were soo eye candy. Only beef was too many QTE.

I tend to go months at a time without touching a game. I binged through the first week of Warlords of Draenor then cancelled my subscription. Haven't played anything since then.

The two games I've been playing the most of are Evolve and Total War: ATTILA on the PC. Evolve is a good game to play if you have a bunch of friends, and I just simply love all Total War games. Attila makes some good improvements on Rome 2 and I like the challenge of playing an empire at the point of its decline.

Rarely play video games these days, and even rarer that I even buy them unless they are on sale. I did start The Banner Saga recently. Will revisit.

I have a stack of games I've been meaning to play, but I've just been so fatigued, lazy, distracted, and bored over the past year that I haven't gotten around to them.

I'm playing Dying Light on New Game+, replaying both Dragon Ages before I start Inquisition, NBA 2K15, and trying to force myself to finish AC Unity. Also, it's about that time of the year where I give The Witcher another try...it never really clicks for me but after a while I start wondering why didn't it and I try it again.

@davillain-:

I'm currently playing Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I still have decent size backlog of games to either finish or start--Wolfenstein: The New Order, Alien: Isolation and Borderlands 2 are the most recent. Although in the case of Borderlands, I might just bite the bullet and pick up the next-gen port; I currently have it on steam, but it's just the base game w/no expansions. The next game I'll probably pick up is Mortal Kombat X--the wife loves the series and she's looking forward to kicking the crap out of anyone who plays her, myself included.

Currently playing Majora's Mask 3D along with Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations (I got the Ace Attorney Trilogy).

On Steam, I just been playing games I beat already like Astebreed, King of Fighers XIII, and BlazBlue Continuum Shift to get achievements.

For me, I was gonna buy N3DS but I decided to wait and see if Nintendo will do a Xenoblade+N3DS bundle and I'll get that. For now, my next game is Bloodborne :-)

I managed to get a Rosalina amiibo myself. She's exclusively to Target. All I did was keep checking Target.com the day it was released to see if they were in stock yet, and ordered one before they went out of stock, which happened about 10 minutes later.

I'm not surprised they're selling like hot cakes. I'm pretty sure every recent amiibo that has been released last week is sold out.

I think the Rosalina amiibo is one of more rare ones in general though. I also have a Wii Fit Trainer amiibo, which is pretty rare too.

You're missing absolutely nothing by not playing Wolfenstein. One of the most underwhelming "AAA" games I've ever played.

I also plan to get Mortal Kombat X. But I'll probably wait until I get a PS4 (I don't think I'll have one by the time the game comes out), and then get the PS4 version of it, rather than the PS3 version.

I think it's the "What the hell am I missing?" feel. Witcher fans are very vocal and all praises on the best mature and dark themed game they have ever played but all I see is boobs and swear words, which doesn't make it mature, and I don't consider the story all that dark or enthralling to be honest. But then, every now and then someone I know who hated the Witcher gets sold on its charms on their third attempt so I have no idea.

Don't get me wrong, I can see why people would be fans of CD Projekt Red and their work ethic, but as far as the Witcher is concerned it has yet to succeed in grabbing my attention even though I have played 3/4 into the first one twice.

Was thinking of getting the new 3dsxl since I have a non xl but the whole hassle of doing a system transfer left a bad taste in my mouth. Like I wanted to sell the old one to put money towards the new one or do some trade in value but it seems that I need both systems in hand to transfer everything over. Why purchases and stuff are tied to the system as opposed to an account is beyond me

@airshocker: I got about halfway through when I got sidetracked with work and school. It wasn't too bad, but then again I'm not into FPS games all too often, and a wasn't expecting too much from it. I could never really get into the Call of Duty games, and I don't play multiplayer games very much.

lately I have been hooked on borderlands on my PC. as side games I am working on destiny, resident evil 5, new super mario bros 2, and pokemon alpha sapphire. so far work gets in the way of most of my time to play, and then I like watching a lot of prime time shows, so I watch them to keep the dvr from filling up after work. best time I get to play is if im off on weekends since my family prevents me from watching stuff on my dvr due to football or other stuff. I currently want to buy alien isolation for the new xbox due to the ultimate sale, but I think it might slip through my grasp this time. lack of money after paying bills. if the sale lasts until Friday, then I get paid on Thursday night, and can purchase it along with the season pass.

I think that about covers what is going on that is gaming related as of right now. or rather as of what I can remember at this moment. :P

I stopped gaming a couple of years ago after my PC's PSU got fried and I couldn't afford to replace it. Had to sell it as parts eventually. I have a decent laptop that I've been using ever since for general stuff. I'm sure you understand the limitations of a laptop when it comes to gaming. But I'd really like to do some light gaming on it its just that its been a while since I paid attention to the industry and as such I have no idea what's out there that may run decently enough on my laptop. It is worth mentioning that I can run CSS flawlessly so maybe use that as your benchmark of performance. I don't expect blockbusters to run on it but you know, maybe some indie games and such.

I really miss gaming so I'd be thankful for any suggestions guys. I don't mind shooters but I love action-adventure games and side-scrolling more. Action RPGs are also welcomed. As long as its fun and captivating I'm not very concerned about the genre but I do love unique experiences in general.

Well I'm one of those people that doesn't really own much for new games and new consoles, I'm more of an old-school gamer.

Though I do have quite a bit of new games for handhelds, been playing a lot on my 3DS, and when its not that, I switch to my GCN.

Yeah, GCN = old console now. :P Anyone ever heard of/played Turok games?

@sheikhspeare: The last time my HDD fried I had just made backups the week before so I was happy, then when I plugged my external HDD to restore the data I realised that the same power spike that had fried my HDD also fried the external one since it was connected at the time... >_<

Oh, that. I've lost data like HDD's countless times, and even a couple of GCN memory cards.

Saved data doesn't seem to like me, what sucks is having to restore all that challenging game data and work all over again.

I'm playing Binary Domain on PS3 right now since I felt the urge to replay that wonderful game. Before that I finished Shadowrun: Dragonfall which is a lovely RPG with exceptional pacing. I mostly love RPGs and Japanese-developed games from Konami, SEGA, Nintendo etc. but will play just about anything.

Also, I play Dota 2 an ungodly amount so if anyone is interested we should play together.

@GazaAli:

Here are a few suggestions: (in no particular order)

SuperMeatBoy

You play as a boy made of red juicy meat who is on a quest to save his gf from some maniac doctor (?)

Addicting gameplay. Lots of stages. Colorful world.

Some people complain it's too hard.

Don't Starve

It's a game about building yourself a shelter and living the wild life (literally)

Endless crafting options. Some really fun random places and events. Secrets to discover.

Brutally hard. Can get repetitive.

Papers Please

You play as an immigration officer who needs to check people's papers.

You actually learn a necessary skill. Pixel graphics. "Politics, Politics everywhere!"

Hard.

Race the Sun

You control a plane that uses sun's energy to move.

Requires fast reflexes.

Repetitive. There's nothing beside fast reflexes that's interesting about this game to be honest.

Spacechem

You run a chem company in a planet other than earth.

Programming required.

Programming required.

Super House of Dead Ninjas.

Pretty addictive. Nice environments. Reflexes. Skills and Items.

Kind of short. That last boss is a pain. May get repetitive.

Terraria

Shut up and dig. And maybe later build something. And maybe later dig further for a boss encounter. Then die then start digging some place else. Then repeat.

LOTS of different weapons and armors to build and find.

Recipes for different items can only be found in wiki pages.

Stanely Parable

Runs on source so I don't think you'll have a problem running it. A philosophical bullshit game with multiple endings that tries to spell the word "pretentious" way too often.

Pretentious is all this game is.

Pretentious is all this game is.

Faster than Light

Turned-based spaceship battle with lots of risky choices to make which is probably the only thing people love so much about this game.

Choices. Your crew will die.

Hard.

Lone Survivor

2D pixel graphics horror game. Never finished it cuz the story seemed kind of dumb.

2D horror is art. You're free to explore as you please (I guess)

The story is...Umm...Unclear?

One Finger Death Punch

Remember those dumb marshal art movies? This is where they got their inspiration from. You play as a stick figure with left and right mouse buttons as his only weapons. Good luck beating the shit out of those two buttons.

Only two buttons means you can chilax. Still there's great depth to this game.

Stages can get repetitive.

Retro City Rampage

Top down GTA with the look of an NES game. 'nuff said.

Beautiful. Lots of references to old games. Actually enjoyable gameplay for a parody game.

Short.

Volgarr the Viking

If you liked Ghost 'n Goblins then you'll definitely love this one too. Albeit be warned. It's a LOT harder.

Good old school gameplay.

Hard.

Gemini Rue

A detective game indeed. Also a decent sci-fi game.

Good story. Good pixel graphics.

Not much in terms of gameplay. It's the same point and click formula we've seen for years.

Escape Goat

I really liked this game. Don't know why to be honest. Maybe because you're a goat trying to free the sheep?

Braid

You're some dude trying to save some princess. Before you say no it's not Mario and no it's not Mario with time travel. Just play it if you haven't already.

Great puzzles. Great writing and story. Great graphics. Jonathan Blow.

A bit short. Those star puzzles.

Another World

If you haven't already played this game it's the prefect time.

Great cut-scenes. Great story. Great environments.

Too short I guess. Some hard puzzles.

Gunpoint

You're a private detective. But there are also lasers and stuff so it's cool.

Upgrades and variety of puzzles. Never feels forced.

Short with a generic ending.

Hotline Miami

THE most violent video game out there. You play as a literal killing machine that has the shape of a man and wears animal masks for fun's sake.

Addictive and fast-paced gameplay with a blend of stealth and action.

Some masks are useless. Especially if you know what a "Tony" is.

Superbrothers Sword and Sworcery

You play as a heroin who is on a quest to rid the world of the evil that has arisen.

Great atmospheric game. Nice puzzles. Best good vs bad story in video games imo.

Some puzzles are confusing. Short.

To the Moon

A story about two scientists who try to make some old dude believe he went to the moon. Quite... Stupid in my opinion but many people liked it.

I love how my gaming laptop runs circles around 90% of my friends' desktops. it hasn't let me down yet. plays everything nice and smooth. though I do want to upgrade to a better laptop soon. love the performance and the portability.

The only thing is that you're paying more money for an entire new laptop when everybody else can just upgrade individual parts.
