Yesterday i had a Boss Chicken Whooper with Chili Fries at BK mmm.
wbu? :)
I can't remember :(
This. Unfortunately, BK isn't popular in my neck of the woods. I've always preferred them to Maccers. I miss the Whopper.
It's been years since I last set foot at BK. When I eat out, it's usually at say, Olive Garden, Boston Market, or The Cheese Factory.
Wow, what a great time for this topic. It was literally yesterday. I haven't been to a Burger King in like 2+ years, certainly not this year. But my wife is currently pregnant and well ... apparently that makes hungry for crap food.
As expected it was pretty bad. The girl taking our order was dumb, didn't take the order correctly, gave us wrong items and missed stuff. The food was actually somewhat okay, not close to what I'm used to in a real restaurant of course.
I have no idea why it's so popular, really. The only reason we usually visit fast food restaurants like McD or BK is when it's like 2 AM and we are hungry and nothing else is open and we're far from home. I can't imagine people actually go there because they enjoy the food so much.
there is one down the street from where i live. go there maybe every few months or so. probably been 5 or 6 weeks since i've last been.
@jun_aka_pekto: What do they sell at the cheese factory?.
I'm thinking he meant Cheese Cake Factory.
Aside from cheese cakes, they have a very robust menu of typical american food with a smorgasbord of random bits from various cuisines like italian, chinese, and south american.
We JUST got a brand new Burger King down the street from where I live. Only problem is, there's nothing there that I can right now since I've been on self-imposed restrictions. Every month this year, I was eliminating something from my diet and now am fully vegetarian but that's only lasting until the end of the year. Beginning next year, I plan to go there a lot, eating reasonably mind you. I love fast food, but god it's addicting.
I know u got the chicken, but Is BK popular in India?, Given that the go to burger is the whopper (beef) at BK, I thought eating beef cattle was considered taboo for the vast majority.
Like, The only time I saw beef curry at an Indian restaurant was when the Indian owner was catholic indian. It was good though, Goat curry is good too, but nothing tops tandori chicken
It's been about 5 years ago while living in Montreal. Living in western Canada now, don't know of any BK in the city?
WOW!So many health freaks on OT.Wish i was one,but i live on junk/fast foods ?
Healthy eating is trendy and makes you feel better than others. I bet half these people replied to you from BK XD
I only ever have BK/McDonalds/KFC when on the road really. Service stations are quite limited to what they sell. Generally try to eat at home because it's so much cheaper. Don't mind them when I have them though!
EDIT: 'on the road' aka once every 2 months or so I reckon.

BK has a veggie burger. It's ironically one of the few fast food joints I still go to since I went vegetarian.

I didn't see it on the menu at mine. Probably a regional thing.
I haven't been in years. I only go to McDonald's when the kids want an indoor playground... Never eat there. I've been seeing a lot more commercials for Burger King lately advertising the flame broiled advantage of their burger. Gotta say, those whoppers bring back some tasty memories. Anyone on the west coast has In and Out which makes other burger joints taste like dog food. Unfortunately I have to settle for Hardee's, which aren't that bad considering where I live.
Last Monday but just for a hot chocolate after finishing work and no where else was opened around 8pm

Don't think so. Sometimes it's not on the menu, sometimes it's just well-hidden, but I'm pretty sure they all have it.
I can not remember, maybe it's almost 2 months ago? Wow it was so long, I just realised. How could I live without Burger King? LOL
Who eats veg burgers? As a Hindu i dont even eat Veg Burgers, yuck?
cmon are you THAT ignorant in your own country, even someone 10000 miles away from you is more well cultured and aware of your locale and how to answer your question. Jainists, that's who! plus I know Jainists here, they eat veggie burgers, and I am aware of this being a heavy animal eater myself.
@indzman: chicken ain’t meat pal
As for the original question, went Sunday last week, we are “regular” customers ( once or twice a month ) since there’s one a couple of blocks away from my home.
I like my whoppers with extra cheese and bacon ( if my arteries are going to get clogged let’s do it with style ) and onion rings instead of fries.

Live in a rural area?

I'm not a health freak--I just can't settle for mediocre fast food burger chains anymore. There are some local options that are worlds better.
