As someone who just bought a Galaxy Nexus with Jellybean, LOL at this iphone. Seriously, 4 inch screen? I always thought android phones looked big, but after upgrading, I realized that it was just my iphone 3GS was too small. The extra screen space makes a world of difference when it comes to browsing and texting. After using Nexus's 4.5" screen I don't think I could ever go back.

It may or may not have more computing power than the Galaxy S3. But in terms of software convenience it just playing catch up with android phones.

I was waiting for this to come out. Now that I've seen the real specs and etc, Im going to get the GS3 lol.

They're both the same price and the hardware is only on par with current Android phones. (and in some areas, less)

As much as I never thought I'd actually agree with Pirate, everything he said is completely true. Apple is playing catch-up to Android OEMs and saying otherwise is just some seriously amusing denial.

It's nice, but no reason to upgrade for me at least. I'm still happy with the 4S, and I don't have several hundred dollars.

I wouldn't want them to make one of those 4.7"+ monstrosities, but yeah, I don't get why they settled on 4" instead of going up to that ~4.3" sweet spot.

I'm not understanding the claims that this is behind the S3. As far as I can tell from comparison charts the only area where the S3 wins is slightly higher quoted battery life. In every other area, it has equal or lower specs than this iPhone. We can't know on processing speeds yet but the iPhone 5 has a faster chip than the latest iPad.

Apple software catching up with Android? Are you kidding me? Apple has the most stream-lined and easy to use OS of any available. Apple is the master of dumbing things down for the masses. You are fooling yourself if you believe Android is more user-friendly than iOS, and this is coming from an Android user who used to have an ipod touch.

iPhone 5: 4.0" | 4.87 x 2.31"

The S3 has less than a full inch bigger screen, and roughly half an inch taller. That's not going to break your pocket,

A half an inch may not seem like much to 4s users, but it makes a huge difference for productivity. Playing games, my thumbs aren't covering key areas of the game screen, web pages aren't as congested and I'm hitting links more accurately. I also make fewer mistakes when texting. I don't if you've ever had an S3 in your hands, but it's pretty sweet.

I'm likely going with the SIII as my next upgrade in a couple of weeks. Wasn't too impressed with the iPhone 5.

I have a Nexus S and have spent a ton of time with a friend's One X, so I know the advantages/disadvantages of the different screen sizes. 4.7-4.8" may not be pocket breaking, but I find it's just big enough to be annoying (and I have *much* bigger than average hands), whereas my Nexus S is just a bit too cramped.

I find the partisanship pretty silly. I don't like a lot of Apple's practices and don't have an iPhone, but I do acknowledge that they are by far the most innovative hardware maker today. When people claim they're technologically behind I honestly feel like it's bitterness over not being able to afford their stuff, because it plainly isn't true.

I'm seeing a lot of people compare it to the Samsung Galaxy phone. Does anyone here know a spec comparison that someone might have come up with? Like a side by side chart or something? I don't know what most of the techno gibberish means, and I want to find out which one is actually superior when it comes to tech.tylergamereview
