Homecoming and Prom????

Homecoming is this weekend and I'm not going. Too ****ing expensive and also I have the slight problem of not having a date . . .

Did you guys go to your high school's homecoming or prom??? How was it? What did you do?

Homeschooled, so no I won't get to.

I didn't go to either of mine. I didn't give a damn about homecoming, and my girlfriend was deemed too old to bring to the prom.

I did go to prom. Since I went to a private christian school, it was completely sucktastic.

Currently a sophomore in high school and not planning on it.

Meh. I'm going for the heck of it. I don't have a date. >_>

Don't have a date, so don't see a point in going. But yeah it can get expensive if you want it to be nice. One of my friends is spending like $150-200 on it, though I have no idea why he's doing so. I also don't get why the guy usually buys the ticket and dinner and stuff.

Not going to either for the next four years. No interest in spending hours of my free time surrounded by hundreds of people I have to deal with for fourty hours a week.

Homecoming was a nightmare for me.

Prom was okay.

went to a friends house with a couple other friends for my prom...much fun was had.

Mine is tommorow. I've got a date just took a friend of mine. How hard can it be, just ask a friend to go with you if you can't get an actual date or take a blow up doll of Scarlet Johansson

Yeah I went to both Homecoming and Prom my senior year of high school. All I did was grind with the ladies...8)

I didn't go to prom, my girlfriend was too young to go the first year, and then the second year, she came down with the flu... :( Ah well, I got plenty of opportunities to dance with her anyway. :)

I went to homecoming and prom both my senior and junior year. I didn't have an actual male date for any of them, I always just went with my girlfriends and ended up having a great time. My senior year for homecoming my friend and I bought mums for each other, and the guy I was supposed to go with to my senior prom advanced in his volleyball competition and therefore was out of town that same weekend. Overall, junior and senior year homecoming were most memorable for me.

I don't bother with homecoming, and I need to find a girl that i'm willing to take out to prom. Also pay dues.

Just the whole missing prom thing...kinda funny.

I don't think theres Homecoming in Canada, or at least my school doesn't have one. I did go to two proms though, both of which were really awesome.

Yeah, I really didn't mind though, besides, half the kids came back to school with hangovers, and I spent the rest of the day laughing at them... :P For some reason, our prom was on a thursday?

I thought it was hilarious! For a whole day, the high school looked like something out of Dawn of the Dead! :P And the teachers knew, they just couldn't put it on friday due to the place being booked.
