Personally, I think Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2 is my favorite movie of this year so far. What do you think, OT?

I've seen about 60 movies and I think the best was probably The Tree of Life. Not solely for just enjoyment because the film is about 20 minutes too long but because of its ambition and the fact that people will academically be reading that movie for years. And also because Brad ripped it up :D

WTF? Are you 7 years old?

My favorite was Thor, Hemsworth is the man.

No need to get angry, it's just too progressive for you. That movie is way ahead of its time..

Without question it was Thor for me, couple others worth mention would of been some other comic book releases

Rise of the Planet of the Apes Both Thor and X-Men deserve a nod. Most entertaining movie I've seen at home has got to be Troll Hunter.

Super 8 was pretty good and I actually thought that Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie was great too but for me the best movie of the year was hands down The Adjustment Buruea. In fact that might be the best movie I have ever seen.

Potter 2 for sure. A perfect ending to a great series. Though, the only other movie I've seen is X-Men, and while enjoyable, isn't the greatest thing ever.

For me so far it's Certified Copy as I just found the whole film mesmerizing and a joy to watch unfold. Although I must say that I was quite impressed with Attack the Block as well.

Deathly Hallows or X-Men First CIass. Anything else I went to isn't very memorable, because I don't remember any more right now.

So far, it was X-Men for me. But to be fair, I haven't seen Thor, Harry Potter, or Captain America yet. In fact the only movies that came out this year I actually went to the theater to see were Horrible Bosses, Bad Teacher, X-Men, Transformers 3, and the Smurfs. Between work, Netflix, the gym, and 60 games between all my game consoles I just didn't see that many movies in the theater this year.

Harry potter, Limitless, or Planet of the Apes.

They were all so good I can't decide which is better.

Reading this thread reminds me of how far behind I am on 2011 movies. Harry Potter is pretty much the only major release I've seen.
