It looks like Super Mario World WILL be coming tomorrow! If you actually click the "Super Mario World" link on Wikipedia, you will find this: "Super Mario World was one of the first games to be announced for Wii's Virtual Console service with a cost of 800 Wii Points, and was originally intended to be ready at launch. Nintendo of America later removed the game from its list of Virtual Console games for 2006. However, it was released in Japan on the day of the Wii's launch. Super Mario World will be available for the Virtual Console on February 5, 2007."

No, you can't get your points back. But don't worry: you only have to pay for a game once, after that you can download it as many times as you want for free. Just download it again for free.

That doesn't prove anything. Wikipedia is often wrong so I'm not counting on that. The link you're referring to is just a link to another wiki site.

1200 points in japan... all N64 games are 1200 points over there... there was a rumor that MK64 was going to be 1200 points too. It was 1200 points in japan though.

Press the R-trigger on your GC controller on the -This game needs a classic controller-screen. Should work, let me know if it works out!

it may never come out... its made by rare but other companies own the license so we aren't sure if its going to show.

sigh.... read what people have said before... Banjo Tooie/Kazooie are not coming to the VC because they are owned by Rare and microsoft now owns Rare. we have no confirmed dates for Majoras Mask or Diddy Kong Racing... I try to keep this thread as up to date as I possibly can so if its not listed with a date next to it then there is probably nothing confirmed.

I'm hoping we get Beetle Adventure Racing (N64) on the VC soon. Supposedly it was rated by the ESRB, but then later pulled from the site. I think Nintendo is still in talks with EA for their games. http://www.vc-reviews.com/review/470/beetle-adventure-racing.php

I've only bought 2 VC games so far, Super Mario 64 and Super Probotector (excellent game if you want something you can just play through in 30 minutes). I'm still waiting for the really good ones to come.

You guys are crazy! Kirby was amazing when it first came out! Kid Icurus is also a big time sleeper hit for the NES. Some of you guys are way too young to remember them, but that shouldn't make you bash 'em!
