The one thing you DON'T like about the Wii

For me it's got to be where they put all the GameCube ports. It's just awkward plugging in GC controllers up there and the slightest movement of the cord will knock the Wii over.

Maybe in the future Nintendo will do a redesign for the Wii and put the GC ports in other places.

Anyway, I don't like some devs attitudes towards the Wii. That's my biggest complaint about the console.

Well to tell you the truth every system I buy has a load cons.

I can go on for pages on the great and awsome things about my Wii but since the topic is cons heres it goes:

Ihate that there is such a shallow online system, I hate the fact that there is no vice chat, I hate the fact that there is such a lack of memory which holds back games like GH3, i dont like how devs dont take Wii seriously most of the time, I would like to see more Mii integration, I would like to see REAL multiplat games, if there is going to be ports make them good, and I would have been happier with better graphics but as you can see there are plenty of games coming out that look much better than anything from last generation titles.

meh graphics, not enough quality games, crummy online (friend codes), and all the useless channels we're given instead of something neat like a demo center.

2 things.

1) No Harddrive.

2) No mic.

as for things I don't like about the wii itsself, well they could of made the wii do 720p (yeah yeah I know, graphics arnt everything *sighs*), and I'd of prefered if the nunchuk was wirless (the wire connecting the wiimote and nunchuk is stupid. some of the minigames that make you shake the wiimote and nunchuk like a maniac make the wire flack all over the place :?

Ya if they let us use their SD cards for more things the clinch on the mempory would be lessoned, but whenever a website or magazine asks nintendo about there obvious lack of memory, Nintendo hides behind the "you can erase your VC games" but thats BS on so many levels. First off I dont like erasing and downloading my software dozens of times, secondly there will be a time wehn there are things you can erase, and third there more than simple VC games that arew choking up the memory.

well. me personaly. i like the wii remote and numchuck. but i think it'd be cool if they made a controlller for it sorta like the 360. that was wireless, and you could chose wether or not you want to use the wii remote or the controller.

Only a handfull of things.

1. Arm gets tired playing with the wii-mote sometimes.

2. Classic controller sold separately.

3. Wii-mote needs batteries.

I honestly don't have any major complaints yet. I'm at a time in my life where I can be completely satisfied with what the Wii currently offers, including the game library. I can easily see how other people can have many complaints, though, and that's fine. But for me, it's all good.

A possible future complaint is the lack of a hard drive (or more internal flash memory). That will be an issue in the future as I buy more VC games and probably some WiiWare games. But Nintendo might satisfactorily meet that need, who knows.

My 2 problems:

1. The flaps that over the controller slots and memory card slots break easily when knoked over. My flap piece broke at its end which goes over the controller slots.

2. The name "Wii" is a little bit of an embarrassment.

I don't criticize the Nintendo Wii's graphics because if games were made to look so similar to reality, then I definitely would not play any games with realistic looking humans with blood and gore spattered all across the screen from brutal scenario such as chainsaws and rocket launchers. That's just sick and evil and takes a LOT away from fun. Those who believe in realism being best is unaware of the evil that awaits in the future. That's the route Sony and Microsoft may end up taking.

That happened to me like a month after I got my Wii. Simply order another cover from Nintedo's online store for like a dollar.

1. not next gen like the 360 and PS3 , I know graphics don't matter but I wish the Wii was a next gen not new gen.

4. lack of snes and N64 games on vc

5. lack of good Wii games , hopefully when SMG comes out I'll go right back in playing my Wii.

A lot of the ones mentioned aren't valid.

First of all, can't you just put the "flaps" right back on?

Secondly, the IR sensor is amazingly responsive. It responds by the milisecond, that seriously isn't an issue.

If this counts, I'd say the lack of respect from third party developers. Nintendo is doing all the work(Capcom is the one third-party company that is actually putting an effort).

If the thing that I'm not fond of has to be about the actual Wii itself, I don't really have one. I'm currently fine with friend codes, but it might turn out to be an issue in the near future, when I will probably regularly play Wii games online.
