Fox: Special Moves

Down Special Move: Reflector

Did you notice that thing dangling from Fox's waist?
What is that?

Yup, that's his Reflector.

This is it.

Take it out to initiate the Reflector!

It perfectly reflects projectile weapons fired at him. It's a fine piece of weaponry, and one that most fighters envy.

Standard Special Move: Blaster

The design of Fox's blaster has also changed.

Enemies won't flinch at the impact of its shots, but it does have rapid-fire capabilities. It's the perfect weapon for stealing KOs.

Another picture with Zero Suit Samus (and a rather scrumptious one at that :twisted: ). I'm still waiting for her update so they can finally explain exactly what "certain conditions" cause her to come about. Judging by the smahsbros.com pictures so far, it seems to be pretty often. I wish it would be just as easy as toggling between Zelda and Sheik (Link and Wolf Link/Midna, anyone?), though I don't imagine that being the case. I'd also like to know if the player has any control over the transformation whatsoever, as accidentally switching characters, and especially being forced to could prove detrimental to gameplay.

Lylat Cruise

The Lylat System is the general term for the region of space featured in the Star Fox games.

Here, you will fight on top of a spaceship while warping to various locations.

The name of this high-speed spacecraft is the Pleiades.

The fight rages on as the ship barrels through asteroids, dogfights, and even the atmosphere of Corneria. A-Are you going to be OK?

Asteroid belt! And here's Team Star Fox in battle!

Here we are entering the atmosphere. Without spacesuits!

The planet's upper atmosphere. A clear, refreshing vista.

Cut through an epic space battle!

How are they breathing? And why is there gravity? I suggest that you not worry about it too much.

Zelda

Just like Link, Zelda's design has also changed.
She has a slightly more subdued color scheme.

Her movement capabilities are not that good, but her magic adds power to her physical attacks. There's a reason why her hands and feet glow, after all.

After reading the title, I just had to pop in and make sure you guys weren't still discussing a new coif. Phew.

Zelda looks more demure with the new hair colour. But I miss the blonde.gaminggeek

She wasn't that bad. I mean, not Kirby bad or anything... Her morfing into sheik balanced her out well, even if she was a bit weak on the offensive side overall.

Mega Man and Simon Belmont would be completely possible (both characters first appeared on the NES) and it would be awesome if they were in the game. Also, with the deal they already have with Konami for Snake, I don't think it would be too hard for them to ask Konami for Simon also. Not a big fan of Sonic though.....

Well, I'm psyched that the most recent update is probably the best yet. Zelda isn't a new character, but I love info on characters that we haven't yet seen for brawl. The one problem I have is that the big question concerning Zelda is unanswered, that being whether or not Shiek is making a return. At this point in time I have my doubts, as it appears to be the TP style Zelda, but on the other hand, Zelda also had a sword in TP, and the moveset in the screenshots looks similar. In the end, I'm clueless. Good update, regardless.

He should wield the OoT sword, like he does in his victory animation in Melee. That sword owns, while the TP one looks too refined to fit his muscular body. *RAWR*

One of the first parts it shows Pikachu, Link, Kirby, and Mario start a battle. With one kick, kirby kills Mario and Link I think it is. wielgy

XD Kirby can do 2 things good. Make side-scrollers for gameboy. And kick the crap out of Jigglypuff. Im not sure of the second one though.wielgy

Jigglypuff is a brilliant character, he's just really hard to handle because he's light and slow. But he's a near-ideal four-player character because he can slip under the radar, and unleash some really brutal attacks.
