Good day folks.

Just quietly anticpating Reach's arrival next week. Also got a sudden urge to play Kingdom Hearts now that Birth by Sleep is finally out. Now all I need is a PSP.

_Dez_

I am still trying to figure out the hype over the KH games. I played the first and second ones..ok pretty BA. The portable versions I could not get into. Oh well not gonna diss you for your choices but I would like to see a next gen addition rather than the portable games. It is nice to see more PSP esclusive titles (on the flip side of things)

Believe me, I'd much rather have this come out on the consoles than on the portables. I can be a bit of a KH nut from time to time. It's a fun hack and slash RPG, with some nice production values and Disney nostalgia. The story is pretty damn out there, but the series got its hooks into me thanks to the Disney and Final Fanstasy blending that worked surprisingly well, not to mention the first game was nice and challenging. I had heard this game brings the good elements from the first two games (simply, flashy combat and challenging gameplay), so I can't help but find myself interested.

I'd much rather have Kingdom Hearts 3, and that's been echoed by the fans ad nauseam, but this game looks like the closest thing to an actual sequel anyway. Now, I wonder if there's a chance this might be ported to the PS2...

Same in Sweden. We have only tiny spiders that have no venom, and then I moved to a place with big wolf spiders and Black Widow spider! I have decided that going on the assumption that everything that has more than four legs is poisonous and out to get me, is the safest approach.

We also have one single species of viper, and the venom is so mild that only an infant with heart problems has to worry about it... And of course I had to move to a place that has rattle snakes and wolf spiders. :|

You're right. It's a prequel, but when I'm reading info on it, it doesn't come off like a spin off series like Chain of Memories or that 158/2 Days, or whatever it's called. It looks like it's closer to KH 1 and 2, and I'm itching for a nice hack and slash game right now.

Whats up everyone! I'm just relaxing at the computer right now after a pretty busy week and looking forward to the next 8 days or so, which will be pretty epic for me at least.

September 11 (tomorrow) My Gators are Playing USF...and I live in Tampa so the game is going to be huge around here...I really hope the Gators can manage a win after their poor performance against Miami (oh).

Then on September 14 as everyone knows its the release of Reach which I have pre-ordered and I'm really looking forward to it...can't wait!

Then on September 17 The Town comes out in theatres, and I really think it could be one of the best movies of the year.

And...to top it all off on September 19, its the premiere of the new show Boardwalk Empire from the writer of The Sopranos, Terrence Winter, and my all favorite director Martin Scorsese. The only bad news here is atm I don't have HBO which leaves me with two decisions...immediately subscribe, or wait till the shows first season comes out on DVD.

Space Quest was this old timey Sierra adventure game similar in styIe to King's Quest, Police Quest and Quest For Glory. Those are the games I played growing up. I miss them a lot. I own the Quest For Glory compilation, but I have no idea how to get it to run on Windows 7.:(

I'm actually not... I'm waiting for the Alabama-Penn State game. And while waiting, I have twice managed to thoroughly break the xorg.conf file of my new Linux Mint installation. I have no GUI right now... it's in a way hilarious. :)

Linux is a toy, a project, a diversion. It's dual-booting on the desktop (so I can still run my old 32-bit PC games from the XP drive), and I'm playing around with it for the fun and learning experience. I would never run it as my primary OS or recommend it to someone who needs a robust OS that can get real work done though. It's not ready for that yet... for a hobby project though, it's great. :)

The game has been pretty hilarious so far... or rather, the Vandal friends I have on Facebook are pretty hilarious so far. Total meltdowns. At the beginning of the second half it is 31-3 in favor of Nebraska.
