Why does everyone keep posting that they are also having the same problem? I think it's safe to say that EVERYONE has this problem because the page/service that handles this function is down. Maybe if Gamespot would acknowledge the issue in some way, people will see that it is a known issue and not bother posting.

Apparently, they are not aware of this because the problem is among us for some time now...
What is the purpose of an ADMIN to a forum if they can't tell us anything. "They could be working on bugs to keep the site running for all we know." ???? Really? Everything else is running fine. Just an update please from someone or a message to ALL USERS they are aware is all we are asking. I'm like the user above where it's like an OCD thing for me. I'm keeping this page open 24/7 and try every morning because I can't just let it go.

You also said that last weekend... this is getting a little old
Only trying to point out nothing gets fixed on the weekend. You also said that last weekend... this is getting a little old

I don't think people are agitated because it's not being fixed now since it's the weekend, rather that this weekend comes after a five day week, which should be more than sufficient time to fix what should be a relatively simple problem. It's not a huge issue, but it would be nice if the site found the time during the next five day week to fix it.UCF_Knight4 day week. I see your point but either it isn't simple as many may think OR there were more important bugs to work on. Either way no sense getting angry over something we can't control.
Same problem like everyone on this thread. While it's not the end of the world, I would like to update my collection and deleting isn't working!
I don't particularly mind the wait, but it'd be nice to hear something to the effect of what the problem is and why it may take X more hours/days to fix.
(...Yes, I can be a bit OCD when it comes to updating my wishlist.)
same problem, and i don't think it's related to Raptr because it's not a 360 game i'm trying to delete off my "now playing" and Raptr only tracks my 360 games/achievements
its not a minor disturbance when it's WHAT i pay $40 a year for, which is to manage the games i am waiting on so i can keep track.Just noticed the issue myself now, but they are aware of the issue now ok?
Seems to me like this minor disturbance is making all of your lifes miserable, well in that case might I suggest taking some sleeping pills, sleep for a week and than check back to see if it's fixed.
Patience lads, they ARE aware - it WILL be fixed, eventually.

I'm glad that it has been said that they are aware of the problem; however, this problem has been present on the site for quite some time now. I'm starting to wonder when/if they are going to get it fixed anytime soon. Maybe I just need to switch which website I track my games on. Not to sound annoyed or like I'm complaining, but really.
Still broken. This doesn't seem like it should be that difficult of a fix, especially since it's something that's worked perfectly fine before.
I won't complain too much since I'm not a paying customer (other than having to put up with constant advertisements). But if I was paying for this, I'd certainly cancel my subscription.
I agree. My only guess is that something "catastrophic" happened. Since they are unable to simply "recover" coding. Either that or they are incompetant or they don't care. Which I find hard to believe. Being able to add stuff but not remove thus getting updates on stuff you don't really care about anymore, would be benefiial to sponsirs/advertisers. Is this a HUGE deal? NO Is this annoying and ridiculous? Yes Time to go update IGN... which I haven't used in a few years.Still broken. I been trying to delete some Now Playing Games from my list for awhile. I have used multiple web browsers too. Nothing.
Something interesting: I am unable to manually delete games from my "Now Playing" (goes to white screen) however Raptr is able to delete them during this same web issue time period.
That's because this has nothing to do with Raptr like I edited the title to say;)Something interesting: I am unable to manually delete games from my "Now Playing" (goes to white screen) however Raptr is able to delete them during this same web issue time period.

[QUOTE="irishscott99"]That's because this has nothing to do with Raptr like I edited the title to say;) I know it isn't Raptr, what I am saying is Raptr is able to update my games lists here on Gamespot (yesterday and today it got rid of 3 games of mine). While I cannot edit any games on those same lists, I keep getting the HTTP 500 white screen. I am aware of the "bug" of Raptr keeping games on the now playing list even after manually deleting them. My point is that the games lists are able to be changed by Raptr but manually keeps giving you the HTTP 500 error. ("completely" seperate of the Raptr now playing issue)Something interesting: I am unable to manually delete games from my "Now Playing" (goes to white screen) however Raptr is able to delete them during this same web issue time period.

Hope that makes since... seems dificult to insure no confusion of two kinda "similar" issues.
I can report the same problem. Tried with Firefox 3.6.6, Chrome 5.0 and IE8.
Everybody really needs to chill out though, the attitudes in here are ridiculous.
As somebody who has actually done some work with PHP and webservers, I can tell you all that when a script suddenly and mysteriously blows up and stops working, it most certainly is NOT a simple fix. The problem is even greater when you take into consideration dealing with a site that is populated by millions of users per day. You can't just go knock a few lines of code around and get it working again. I'm sorry, but it just isn't that simple. It takes a lot of time and digging and testing and retesting and so on and so forth. So just chill out.
Yes, it is a mildly annoying bug. But it doesn't affect your ability to read or post game reviews, post on the forums, exchange PMs, or use the other 95% of Gamespot's features. Go enjoy some of those, and have some patience while this widely-known and well-documented bug is hammered out.
