Earthworm is a fresh new concept for the action adventure gaming. Think of this game more as a blend of Contra and Super Mario world. The game's star, is a Earthworm, and his moves are pretty much deals with his body...literally. you can use his body as a whip, you can use it to hang on to something, and you can even use the whip the take care of enemies! You do get a gun, and there are plenty of weapons in the game. Visually, this game looked amazing for its day; almost a perfect blend of cartoon and digitized graphics...truly revolutionary for the day. Music is also good, most of it is coutry, and the rest is drum and base type toon; so there is a weird mixture of country and industrial type music in the game. This game aimed to be comic, because throughout the game, you will notice thing that are just off topic; like Earthworm drops his pants, or you will see a cat stuck in a toilet; and many different things like that. Overall, i really enjoyed this game when it first came out, and i wish there were more games like this in the world of XBox and PS2's!
