There are much better platformers out there, but this has some good elements.
Obviously the biggest problem for most people is the camera, and it is not good at all. However, I can completely deal with that because the first games I played were the first 3D games, so I can deal with any camera people complain about (I have absolutely no problems with the Sonic Adventure camera). I still don't have a glowing review, so there is something else wrong. It feels like it lacks liveliness. The game has many funny moments, but it feels like there is no spirit to it for some reason.
The list of things I like is shorter. As I mentioned before, the game has bunch of funny parts, but I can't guarantee that it will be good for you because some people like the humor and some think it is not funny at all. I personally think it is written pretty well honestly. Also, the control is at least responsive.
In conclusion, the game works, but most people will not like it too much if you cannot look past the camera problems like I can.
