The origin of the Wii?

User Rating: 9.5 | Duck Hunt NES
Graphics: Being this was one of the first NES games, and a huge boost into a next gen gaming world, they're pretty good, especially if, for years, you sat playing your Atari, wanting better visuals where you could tell things apart.

Sound/Music: Really ain't any music in this one so I can't rate that. The sound consists of your gunshots, ducks quacking and flying/clay pidgeons flying off, and your dog laughing at you. Yes.. That horrid dog, the one you can't shoot to shut him up. Ugh.

Difficulty: Neither game is difficult really for awhile, but later the ducks and clay pidgeons get faster and harder to shoot.

Gameplay: You've a selection of three games to pick, like most of the Zapper games. First mode is one duck, which speaks for itself, you only have one duck who flies around the screen, I recommend this if you're a beginner. Second mode is two ducks, a bit more harder than the first one as two ducks fly around at once rather than just one, and you can only miss once if you want to get both ducks. The last mode is clay shooting: two clay pidgeons fly out into the open, and is similar to Mode B. You can only miss once if you want to get both clays. This game is quite a test of your hand-eye coordination. In Mode A, you can have somebody take control of the NES Controller plugged into port one, while you use the Zapper, and they can move the duck around. Makes it a bit more challenging if you've a friend around!

Controls: You plug the NES controller into port 1 and plug the Zapper into port 2. To select modes, aim away from the screen and fire and once you find the mode you want, fire at the screen. The rest is pretty obvious: aim at the target and shoot.

Overall: This game was and still is a major classic and a huge change for the virtual world. Some may call this the "beginning of the Wii" for obvious reasons. Don't worry, you don't have to use a sensor bar in this. Instead you just simply use your own TV to recieve your shots. I could explain how it works, but I'm here to review the game, not explain how the Zapper works. I'd recommend looking it up on Google, you may learn quite a bit, and it's interesting. Try to see if you can hit a million in this one! Great game for passing time, or even for duck hunters themselves.
