Battle Arena Toshinden 3 is the third installment to the Toshinden series. The game has all the characters from Battle Arena Toshinden 1 and 2 and now there are more characters as well in this one. Each character must be unlocked by using the characters that are already available. The unlockable characters have the same type of attacks as the character you are currently playing as (example: Eiji vs Leon, both use the same type of moves). You fight the character you about to unlock before you face off against the last two enemies, Sho and Abel. Once you beat Abel, a new character would be unlocked. The main difference in this game is the arena, it is caged and not open like in the first or second one, but with all the characters to choose from, it makes up for that. The game was fun, had tons of characters to choose from and was one of the best PS1 fighting games I have played.
