A great attempt at being one of the best movie to game transistions to date. More then the average movie to game port.

If your into Batman this game is a must buy, same could be said if you just sorta like Batman. Batman Returns on the PS2 is actually alot of fun to play and runs along closely to the movies story line. While adding action that wasn't in the movie which is normal for movie to game ports. The graphics were clean enough for the PS2 (could have been nicer.) The music could have picked better times in when to change the tempo of what was going on but still did a great job. And it was always a plus to hear the Batman theme while playing. The controls were a bit stiff and could have been more fluid though. And there could have been more freedom with weapons like grapples and such, instead of spots were they could have been used only. Personally, my favorite Batman is the side scroller on the SNES but this game is great in its respects.
