This Batman game should be the standard for future Batman games. This one's hard to beat as far as Batman games go.

I've not seen the movie yet but the game is quite a wild ride. I've only played some the game but so far I'm impressed. Recent Batman game's have looked too cartoony for me. This game looks as realistic as ever and if I do say so myself I think this is the best Batman game I've ever played. I remember playing the old side-scrolling Batman and the most recent Rise Sin Tzu. They weren't all that good. Batman Begins is a whole new beginning for the franchise. I think instilling fear into your enemies is a great idea. Criminals were always afraid if they thought Batman was around. So why not put that in the game somehow? The only little problem I have is that you die too easily in this game. I thought Batman could take on bullets because of his body armor. Well, that's not in this game. You can only take a few shots in this game and then you're dead. You have to scare the criminals if you want to defeat them. Being sneaky in this game is a lot different then Splinter Cell. So, please don't pick this up thinking I'll be sneaky like Sam or Snake. This is primarily an action game there's some elements of platforming such jumping, climbing, and running. It's still an action game not stealth action. I wish there was more you could do with the grappling hook. All complaints aside this game is worth the 40 bucks. I think this is a cool game and great Batman game. I don't even think you need the movie footage. This game stands on its own two feet game based on a movie or not. The graphics are amazing, the sound is outstanding, and the voiceovers in the game are done by the actors themselves. Also I wanted to say that this game has interrogations kind of like The Punisher. You can only beat them up you can't torture them but they're still pretty good.
