Xbox One: Two New Backwards Compatible Games Now Available

@mrzero1982pt2: Yeah same here I’ve practically got all the games now even the latter Ezio/Altair games despite having the Ezio Collection in PS4. Can’t keep up story wise anymore!

@sladakrobot: Well one things for sure Sony could sure take a step from MS when it comes to backwards compatibility particularly 5e resolution and visual boost benefits you can have from Original Xbox games. Kills me that they can practically put a PS2 emulator on PS4 and not even allow us to just pop our original disc based games in and play it in near crystal clear resolution. Look at PCSX2 and Dolphin on PC!

@killafolston: This pretty much! So many people have been asking for it now so would be great to get it in the near future. Give this and GTA IV an Xbox One X patch too :)

@plus_1: Yeah I remember how freaking amazing this game looking back in 2006. Hell it even put the PC version to shame but to be fair that was it’s own beast and almost a completely different game.

I do agree with you though, they just don’t make games like these anymore with regard to Ubisoft

@plus_1: Servers for all Ghost Recon 360 games are working since they are all peer to peer anyway.

@bobbybaxter: Yes please! Really hope Phil Spencer ups the ante in terms of XB1 X enhancements. So many 360 games I would love to see get the treatment

@bobbybaxter: Yeah, hope that's the case. With MS seemingly releasing Scarlett in 2020, we're only getting Crackdown 3, Gears 5, and Forza as Xbox One X exclusive showpieces. So I hope there's more Xbox One X Enhanced games to make up for the lack of big AAA exclusives.

@deviltaz35: Sigh. No game plays instantly. Pop in a ps4 disc in a ps4, sit back and let it install. With fast download speed a 360 game would install and play faster via bc than if it were installed from the disc.

@deviltaz35: they said for ages that you would have to download a patch to make the games work. the patch basically makes the xbox(whichever one you own) think it is a 360. its cool, but also a drawback, but it is also an incentive to keep your games, and get rid of your old system.

@deviltaz35: It is still very much BC but system limitations (no games run from disc) make it so this was the only solution. It may not be native, but it most certainly is still BC.

You are still right calling them out as if it is just pop in the disc and you are ready to go as well as failing to point out those without internet connection can't get BC titles downloaded to begin with (and likely would need a Live connection to use if purchased on another console due to the game sharing limitations on the 360).

@lionheartssj1: The original Xbox, or the 360 version? It's only the 360 version, not the original Xbox version. Also... The original is quite different and much inferior. That all said, if you're just saying that you want to play the original Xbox version on your original Xbox, then never mind.

If anything this gen has been a slow decline backwards. If you compare something like Ghost Recon Wildlands to Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter it's obviously that Advanced Warfighter is a much better game and Wildlands just feels like a cheap knock off.

@Pac1Man: I wish they would do a 4k re-release of Brother's in Arms games.

@Sevenizz: Yeah I never really played the original Ghist Recon game s but to me they were gameplay over visuals. They seemed so dated even back then and I was so glad when they improved the graphics ending for GH2

@Sevenizz: For the time , the open world was amazing . I would love to see a proper re-release of Operation Flashpoint too. I think that had a different name in the USA but same game. I believe the same devs now does a little online game a few people play :) .

@siarhei: I couldn't Platinum it on my Vita because of a single bug that stopped me from 100% completion of the side missions. FML.
