Surprise! It's time for a Nintendo Direct.

Following rampant speculation online that Nintendo had something new to share, the company surprised everyone with a full Direct presentation this morning. Without fanfare or announcement, the 15-minute presentation runs through a slew of game announcements and release dates for Nintendo Switch that will occur throughout the first half of 2018. You can watch the full video above.

We have a full rundown of all the Nintendo Direct announcements and news here and in the links below, but the biggest surprise is yet another third-party port for Nintendo's hybrid console: From Software's Dark Souls. The presentation is also notable for only focusing on the first part of 2018, which leaves plenty of room for big announcements and more surprises as we get closer to E3.

There's still plenty of room for big announcements (like an N64 Classic or a Smash Bros. Remaster), but what did you think of today's presentation? Are you happy with the number of games revealed, or did this just leave you wanting more? Let us know in the comments below!
