Valkyria Chronicles 4 Announced For PS4, Xbox One, And Switch

Sadly monster hunter 2018 is the real jrp, why because it adopts Japanese inspired themes, character customisation, pets, well more like a jmmo fair to say.

But about time Xbox is getting Valkyrie chronicles (never played it, let's hope it's better then tales of vesparia being very low given I haven't played that either or sonata) version again.

Final fantasy 15, Revolution and this, wow jrpg are non existent on Xbox no really.

If I had to decide it would be dragon quest all the way(that games like dragon ball z jrpg) whole xenoblade for Nintendo switch the new one looks really bad. Compared to the previous.

Would love to play final fantasy world but not happening it seems.

Sega, for the love of God, make this as little like Valkyria Revolution and more like the amazing and original Valkyria Chronicles that fans still crave a true sequel to. Dont even bother going forward with this game if it in any way is like the crap Revolution ended up being. PLZ SEGA, you have the utmost potential to uphold & add another chapter to one of the best RPG/strategy franchises of the PS2 days! As a huge fan of Valkyria Chronicles, plz do it right and listen to your fans feedback instead of changing what made it so special!!

One of my favorite games was Valkyria Chronicles 1. Can't wait to get Valkyria 4!

Hope Atlus USA releases it with an option for Original Japanese Voices + English Subtitles (as well as a Dub).

I know 1 and 2 was out but did sega reasle 3rd game on ps4 ?.

it'l sale like hotcakes on switch be sure on that, on their place i would had remastered previous games for switch and xone as well.

The first game on PS3 was great, a real gem. To my shame however, I never finished it. I got stuck on a timed mission where you also had to be stealthy and avoid spotlights? Hopefully I'm not mixing that up with something else - long time since I played it.

Personally, I'm skeptical simply because this is SEGA we're talking about and we have no idea as to what they can potentially end up doing to this game. If its releasing on PC, there's a good chance that it will be using Denovo...I mean, they did that for Sonic once and look where that lead to.

A remastered version of Valkyria Chronicles 2 & 3 (with English subs, to say the least) would be a perfect companion to this game. Come on, Sega!

Surprisingly unexpected. I really hope it's a true Chronicles game & doesn't have anything that carries over from the Revelations game. Bravo, Sega, bravo. Very nice Christmas present.

EDIT: Just watched trailer & I can barely contain my excitement. It's the real deal. I didn't think we'd ever get a true sequel to these games (especially since we didn't even get the third game). Okami, you're the only other IP that I thought we'd never get a sequel to (DS version doesn't count), sooo... Capcom, you have anything that YOU want to announce? Maybe reassembling Clover Studios....? Huuuh?
