Skyrim Remaster: Here's a Fake Doctor's Note So You Can Skip Work/School

With the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's remastered edition coming out on Friday, you might be thinking about a way to get out of work or school to play the game. Bethesda's Pete Hines has now published a totally bogus doctor's note that excuses you from your obligations.

The note, which isn't guaranteed to work, is signed by Dr. Agon Born (see what they did there?), who may or may not be a real doctor.

If this sounds familiar, it's because Hines published a fake doctor's note for Fallout 4 as well. The Skyrim note's inclusion of a doctor's name themed around the game is a nice touch.

Skyrim Special Edition, as it's called, launches this Friday, October 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Read this post to find out precisely when the game will launch in your region. It's a remastered version of the 2011 RPG, featuring better-looking environments and characters, among other things.

The console versions of the Special Edition feature mod support, but space for the mods is limited to 1 GB on PS4, while Xbox One owners have 5 GB to work with. As announced previously, Skyrim will not allow PS4 mods that use external assets, so 1 GB of space may indeed be enough. Also, you can delete mods and install new ones whenever you want if space is an issue.
