Resident Evil Village brings back Mercenaries mode

Mercenaries mode is back for the first time since Resident Evil 6 and this time in first-person. Capcom also showed off some of the new features, perks, and abilities players can expect, including power bonuses and the ability to purchase new weapons between waves of enemies.

Resident Evil 4 returns in VR

Capcom also announced Resident Evil 4 VR, a complete overhaul of the classic game that reworks it from a third- to first-person shooter that makes use of the Oculus Quest 2's motion controls for interacting with objects, using firearms, and slicing away at enemies with your combat knife.

Resident Evil comes to Dead By Daylight

Dead By Daylight will crossover with Resident Evil, but the brief teaser did not announce which characters are coming to the competitive survival game. The full reveal will take place during an upcoming Dead By Daylight livestream set for May 25.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness comes to Netflix this summer

Capcom and Netflix have been teasing Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness for a few months, but now we know a bit more about it, including a release date. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is coming to Netflix in July 2021. It is set two years after the events of Resident Evil 4 and stars Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. It also features President Graham, father to Ashley, whom Leon was sent on a special mission to rescue in Resident Evil 4.
