It seems like Amazon/Twitch Prime members are constantly getting free gaming goodies from Twitch. Whether it's a free bundle of PC games each month or free in-game gear for titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty: WWII, Twitch offers lots of perks for Prime members. A brand-new promotion just went live: two free Overwatch Wrecking Ball loot boxes you can secure between now and September 3.

The free loot boxes contain four randomized items for Overwatch's newest hero, the hamster-piloted mech named Wrecking Ball. In addition to those freebies, Twitch Prime members will be able to claim a Golden Loot Box in September as well as another Golden Loot Box in October.

As always with free things, there are a few restrictions associated with this promotion. You must own a copy of Overwatch to claim the rewards, and the free loot boxes won't contain any seasonal event items. Finally, Blizzard accounts may only claim each Overwatch reward once per campaign.

To claim your free loot boxes, you'll first need to link your Amazon Prime and Twitch accounts. Then head to Twitch.tv and click the crown icon next to the search bar. That opens a drop-down menu with all the promotions you can claim, including the new Overwatch loot boxes. Once you do that, you can follow the instructions to give Twitch access to your Blizzard account, which gets you the free loot on PC, PS4, or Xbox One. You can find more details about linking accounts here.
