New Apex Legends Free Twitch Prime Skin Is For Wraith

Twitch Prime subscribers get a new rare skin for Apex Legends each month--April 2020 sees the service provide a colorful cosmetic for Wraith.

From now until May 14, you can unlock a new rare skin in Apex Legends for Wraith with a Twitch Prime account. Called Forgotten in the Void, the new skin might be one of Wraith's most colorful appearances to date.

You can see what Forgotten in the Void looks like in the image embedded below. The skin adds a purple, blue, and pink pattern to Wraith's outfit and hair. Her face is also scarred with what looks like Void energy, cracking the left side of her face with jagged black lines. The skin also makes Wraith's eyes even milkier than they already are--like she's permanently witnessing the Void after being forgotten in its depths for so long.

If you're looking for more skins to unlock, The Old Ways limited-time event has added several new epic and legendary skins to Apex Legends' in-game store. You can also unlock a few cosmetics by completing event challenges and earning points towards finishing The Old Ways limited-time prize track. The Old Ways concludes on April 21.

Though The Old Ways event is only temporary, it does make some permanent changes to Apex Legends. A new town takeover, Bloodhound's Trials, has been added to the northwestern part of World's Edge. Duos mode and a map rotation feature have also been implemented, providing more ways to play. Several of the playable legends have been patched as well--most notably, Lifeline has transformed into a far more supportive combat medic and Revenant has received some massive buffs that up his utility in combat.
