As promised last month, Capcom has released a pack of new multiplayer maps for its science-fiction shooter, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. The pack includes two maps, Radar Field and Island 902, and is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft points ($5).

In Radar Field, gamers will shoot it up in a close-quarters facility that is currently under construction. As its name indicates, the map has a giant radar that serves as a great position to get a look at the entire battlefield. Island 902 features several islands connected by bridges, as well as underwater areas.

This pack contains the first two of seven new multiplayer maps previously announced by Capcom. The remaining five are expected to be released over the coming months.

Lost Planet is rated T for Teen and is now available on the Xbox 360. For more information, read GameSpot's review.
