Fortnite No Right To Bear Arms Secret Challenge: Where To Disarm Gnomes And Bears

The latest secret Fortnite challenge has you averting a war between bears and gnomes; here's where you need to go and how to disarm their weapons.

A new batch of challenges has arrived in Fortnite. In addition to the usual weekly missions, developer Epic has been rolling a handful of "secret" challenges to complete throughout the season. The latest, called No Right to Bear Arms, is now live following the game's 12.50 update, and it asks you to disarm the gnomes and bears and prevent them from going to war (which could be an ever-so-slight nod to Fortnite's new no-combat Party Royale mode). If you need help tracking them down, this guide will show you where to go and how to complete the challenge.

Where Are The Gnomes And Bears Location?

After weeks of quietly feuding with one another, the gnomes and the bears have finally drawn a battle line. Both sides are lined up on a grassy field, ready to go into battle, just north of Weeping Woods in grid square D5. You can see their exact location on the map below.

How To Complete The Challenge

Once you find the bears and gnomes, all you need to do is go to each side and disarm their weapons. The gnomes are standing around a cannon, while the bears have a tank. Simply go up to the weapons and interact with them when prompted to disarm them. Once that's done, you'll complete the challenge and earn 15,000 XP for your troubles.

Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2 has now been extended into early June, so there's still some time left to complete any weekly challenges you may have missed from earlier in the season. If you need help clearing any of those, you can find all of our maps and guides in our Fortnite Season 2 challenges roundup.
