As detailed in the Nintendo Direct stream held on March 4, both the Birthright and Conquest versions of Fire Emblem Fates will be available on this date. A downloadable add-on called Revelations will become available on eShop later on.

Nintendo did not specify a date for Revelations in Europe, but it is expected in North America on March 10. Players will need to own Birthright or Conquest to have access to the new story, as it provides more details on characters and events from Birthright and Conquest.

The different versions of Fire Emblem Fates tell the game's story from two perspectives. A special edition of the game will also be released that includes both Birthright and Revelations together, giving players the opportunity to experience the game from both sides. It also includes an artbook, poster and steelbook cover.

Nintendo has also announced a Fire Emblem Fates-themed New Nintendo 3DS XL will also be available when the game launches. You can take a look at images of both below.
