Dragon Ball FighterZ's Opening Movie Shows Off Every Announced Character So Far

Watch the game's opening cinematic ahead of its release later this month.

Bandai Namco's highly anticipated Dragon Ball fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ, launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in just a few weeks. Ahead of the game's release, Bandai Namco has shared the opening cinematic that will greet players when they boot up Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The opening cinematic, which you can watch above, showcases nearly all of the 24 characters that have been announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ so far, including adult Gohan, Kid Buu, and Gotenks. The video also provides another look at the game's three most recently revealed fighters from the current Dragon Ball Super series: Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black, all of whom were shown off in the game's latest trailer.

Now Playing: Dragon Ball FighterZ - Opening Cinematic Trailer

Bandai Namco is holding an open beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ this month prior to the game's launch. The beta runs from January 14-16. Those who pre-order the game digitally from the PlayStation and Xbox Stores or the physical Dragon Ball FighterZ Collector's Edition will get to access the beta one day early, on January 13. Those who pre-order any version of the title will also unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta early as a bonus.

Dragon Ball FighterZ releases for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26. Bandai Namco has also announced a season pass for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The pass runs for $35 and will add eight more characters to the game's roster post-launch. You can watch more footage of Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black in action here.
