Dragon Age golden, hitting PS3 Nov. 3

RPG's all the way! Last year i bought most all ps3 games..but this year, i bought only demon souls and will buy dragon age..why? Games that are not rpg's last only for seconds....and most of all..gameplay are all the same (with just new graphics). Will I buy MW2? answer is NO!

Pre ordered Collectors Edition for PC! =D

the PC gameplay i have seen looks just like Neverwinter nights and baulders gate I am not sure how it will translate to PS360 , I will buy the pc version and rent a PS360 copy to see how well it works,

Is the loot system random in this game? or is it pretty much static?

@Slaggo: There's no shortage of useless mods out there, for sure. However, I can quickly point to Oblivion as a game which quite literally NEEDS mods. Lots of mods. The fact that it took well over a year, if not more, to make Oblivion into what it should have been post-release, however, shows that modding is never a sure bet and not a silver bullet for the PC world. If it took a ridiculously active and coordinated community years to create a lineup of compatible mods that made a game which was extremely mod-friendly worth playing, then its clear that mods aren't going to swoop in and save the day for PCs.

Finally some love to the PS3 version of the game. Gamespot had showed some gameplay on the PS3 and im glad to see the game is golden. I cant wait to pick it up

Im wondering which of this to buy.... Dragon Age or Demon's soul........ although i will buy both eventually but im wondering which one to get first........

Can t quite figure out why everyone says this game will be better on pc than ps3.Dont get me wrong I plan on buying this one on pc but look at Sacred2,I had it on pc and it was just awful and got it on ps3 and it was way better.

PC will never fallout. Mods and free content. Look at MW2 dedicated servers signatures. More than a hundred thousand, include me.

Is it just me, or does Europe always seem to get the shaft in gaming. Curious as to why that is?

Ported games to the PC of course look as bad as the console games and manufacturers of PC games often dumb down grafics so those who dont keep up with newer technology(or even 2-3 year old tech) on there PC's can play. Consoles are as good as the average PC perhapsa nd even better in some cases you are quick to point out but 99% of any "PC nerd gamer" doesnt fall into your miscategorization and perhaps has enough spare Pc laying around to build a better machine then the 360. I throw away parts that would upgrade the Wii. Im pretty sure my Pc plays in 1080p also.... :)

No, the PC version will shine. Keyword: Mods. Until the day consoles get community mods, games like these on PC will always be better. Example, My Fallout 3 experience was completely different and much better then any "vanilla" console version. My character could do Jedi type acrobatics and slice off enemy heads with her katana while being followed by her 2 crazy apprentices that I created "myself". Don't even ask me how insane my modded SF4 is. DA was made for modding. "Goodbye PC"? They've been saying that forever.

As time goes on I wish I would have gotten a PS3 instead... All these great games are coming out for both consoles, and to top it off I don't like shooters that much.

@Zloth2 I would pay full price all over if the game had Minsc in it. "Go for the eyes Boo go for the eyes!" Perhaps a keen modder may do it.

Wow, this is great news. I was actually going to buy it for my 360 because I didn't want to wait for the PS3 version (I have both systems), but now I don't have to. Good job Bioware! It's a shame that Europe keeps getting screwed on release dates.

Man the PS3 is so complex! I love it!

They could delay this til next summer and release it with all the DLC they are bound to milk out cause PS3 gamers have too much other games to buy right now.

Two years worth of DLC! (Looks over at Mass Effect) So that means we might get one more in 2011? {ahem} Seriously, though, this game looks to be more than worth it, especially on the PC which should be getting tons of free mods over the years. Who needs DLC with all that? (Well, OK, maybe if they add Minsc in as an NPC....)

I was surprised when I first heard that BioWare would work this game onto PS3 with only two weeks' delay. Now I am almost shocked. The port will either be glitchy and terrible, or BioWare will have its first step on PS3 platform solid. I'm curious to see how it turns out.

I'm still wondering if console gamers actually want this point and click crpg...

There is no multiplayer in DA. None. So no grouping up for partys. There is a toolset, but only for the PC version, and player made modules are single player only. No grouping at all. There is also no DA version of a DM client, so no adapting dungeons or presistent worlds.

Typical for us in europe, the delay capital it seems...still, can't complain too much with what Australia has to put up with gaming wise

ahh! How am I supposed to pass this next week and a half?! O the agony! Maybe I'll go retro with a bit of KotOR.

Getting tekken 6 first, then this game. Fry's electronic has new releases at 50 bucks version 60 for the first week. They did that to Uncharted 2 and it looks like tekken6, but I didn't see the 10bucks off for Dragon Age.

It pains me to state this: This game will flop. I rue the day EA bought my precious Bioware.

So I remember reading that this game was going to have multiplayer. Now it seems it's never talked about. So was it removed?

I was just talking to one of my German friends and he says the Xbox 360 version is available there already along with Assassin's Creed 2.
