Destiny 2: Season Of The Wish Seasonal Challenges Guide - Week 4

We're in the second week of Destiny 2's festive Dawning event, and if you're not too busy chasing down Starcats or earning the new Wish-Keeper Exotic bow, you can relax and knock a few seasonal challenges off of your to-do list.

There's not too much to do this week, as completing the latest chapter of the seasonal storyline, opening up chests in the seasonal activities, and completing the Starcrossed mission to add Wish-Keeper to your arsenal will make up the bulk of this week's optional pursuits. After that, you can play a Grandmaster Nightfall mission, complete activities in ritual playlist activities, and mop up a few Vex to call it a day.

Seasonal Bonuses are also back in Season 23, and you can earn some great perks as you progress through missions and activities.

Week 4

Defeat Vex anywhere in the system. Defeating Vex in Riven's Lair or The Coil grants additional progress. Additionally, break pots in The Coil.

Complete activities in Vanguard, Gambit, or Crucible playlists. Bonus progress is granted for completing Vanguard playlist activities at Hero difficulty or higher, or for winning Gambit or Crucible matches.

Week 1

For Season 23, it's mostly business as usual. Completing the first chapter of the new seasonal storyline will earn you some extra XP in Wishseeker I, and you can also spend some time in the Dreaming City and the EDZ completing public events, Lost Sectors, bounties, and patrols to scratch The City a Wish Built and EDZ Activities from your to-do list. Equip a bow, hand cannon, pulse rifle, or auto rifle that uses primary ammo in Vanguard activities--Strikes, PvP, and Gambit--and you'll quickly complete Focused Intention as well. If you're on the premium rewards track of the season pass you'll have the new Dragon's Breath rocket launcher unlocked instantly, so have fun playing with that and Dragon's Defender will be another challenge that you quickly complete.

Complete the first week of Wishing All the Best.

Complete Dreaming City public events, Lost Sectors, and patrols. Blind Well completions grant additional progress.

Focused Intention

Get final blows with weapons using primary ammo in ritual activities. Earn bonus progress for bow, hand cannon, pulse rifle, or auto rifle final blows. Guardian kills also count.

Week 2

This week, you can continue exploring the seasonal storyline to earn some quick XP, face off against the Taken throughout the system, and stun champions to earn more rewards. In terms of loadouts, you can equip a Solar, Void, or Strand subclass and use those abilities to complete the Inner Fires challenge, defeat Guardians with Solar damage in PvP, and use your favorite shotgun to earn even more bonus XP.

Finally, you can calibrate marksman weapons--scout rifles, sniper rifles, and linear fusion rifles--by landing some critical hits on enemies. For an easy grind with this challenge, check out the Exodus Garden 2A in the Cosmodrome and set up a kill corridor that enemies will rush through.

Seasonal Bonuses

Wishful Armor Focusing

Obtain a full set of Season of the Wish armor to unlock the following seasonal bonus: Wish engrams can be focused into individual pieces of high-stat Season of the Wish armor.

Wishful Weapon Focusing

Obtain any six Season of the Wish or reprised Undying weapons to unlock the following seasonal bonus: Wish engrams can be focused into individual Season of the Wish or reprised Undying weapons. Weapons must first be obtained to be focused.

Wishcrafting

Successfully clear pathways in the Riven's Lair playlist or within The Coil to unlock the following seasonal bonus: Your first Wish weapon engram focused with Spirit of Riven in the HELM each week is guaranteed to contain a weapon with a Deepsight Resonance that you do not have the pattern for.

Solecrafting

Defeat Vex with reprised Undying weapons to unlock the following seasonal bonus: Your first Undying weapon engram focused each week with the Spirit of Riven in the HELM each week is guaranteed to contain a weapon with a Deepsight Resonance that you do not have the pattern for.

Wishful Generosity

Reach Rank 10 with the Spirit of Riven in the HELM to unlock the following seasonal bonus: Completing activities grants an additional Wish engram anytime one is rewarded.

Wishful Keys

Redeem Lair Keys when opening Lair Chests in Riven's Lair or The Coil to unlock the following seasonal bonus: When you redeem a Lair Key in Riven's Lair activities, you have a chance to earn an additional Wish engram.

Keycrafting

Complete The Coil activity with a Silver or higher score to unlock the following seasonal bonus: The first time you redeem a Lair key in Riven's Lair or The Coil each week, you will receive a Season of the Wish weapon with a Deepsight Resonance that you do not have the pattern for.

Well Wishes

Complete the Blind Well activity in the Dreaming City after triggering its Heroic encounter to unlock the following seasonal bonus: The first successful completion of the Blind Well on Tier Three or higher each week grants a Wish engram and either a piece of high-stat Season of the Wish armor or a Season of the Wish weapon.

Your Wishes, My Commands

Purchase Tier Two or higher Dragon's Gifts (Tier Three Dragon's Gifts provide the most progress) in The Coil to unlock the following seasonal bonus: Additional Tier Two and Tier Three Dragon's Gifts are now available in The Coil. Tier Two and Tier Three now contain an additional option to choose from.
