The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia from Dark Horse is coming in just a few weeks, but we have an early look at a few of its pages. This peek gives us a page of detail covering Zelda: Oracle of Ages, another on the highly-regarded Ocarina of Time, and a two-page spread on towns and villages throughout the series.

The Encyclopedia is the third in the "Goddess Collection" of Zelda tomes from Dark Horse. The first, Hyrule Historia, made waves in the fan community by revealing the split Zelda timeline. The second, Art & Artifacts, released earlier this year and contained a comprehensive collection of promotional and concept art from throughout the series.

The Encyclopedia is, true to its name, an information resource for all things Zelda. The book had been slated for release in April, but was pushed to June 19 earlier this year. It goes for $40, but a Deluxe Edition retails for $80 and is designed to look like a gold NES cartridge.

Meanwhile, Dark Horse is already planning its next massive Zelda tome. That one, focused on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will boast 424 pages all focused on the latest and critically acclaimed entry. It's slated for release on November 20, 2018.
