Call of Duty: World War II has added microtransactions. You can now buy "Call of Duty Points" from the in-game store in allotments ranging from 200 to 13,000. These run in price from $2 to $100, and you can see a full breakdown below with local pricing.

You can spend Call of Duty Points to get rare-level supply drops AKA loot crates for multiplayer and Zombies creates/loot boxes in the Zombies mode. You also also obtain other items with Call of Duty Points; and the currency also works for similar items in Infinite Warfare, Modern Warfare Remastered, and Black Ops III.

Microtransactions were supposed to come to Call of Duty: WWII sooner, but developer Sledgehammer delayed the launch of the system so it could fix the game's issues first. The game launched earlier this month for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and it had a strong start, doubling the sales of Infinite Warfare when looking at each game's first 10 days on sale.
