Why can't all video games, based off movies, be this good?

User Rating: 8 | X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Uncaged Edition) X360
Well that's usually because developers think, just because it's a blockbuster film, the game will profit like the movie. Sadly, this is "Almost" never the case, and games off movies suck... bad! Here's a list to give you an example: Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, and Terminator: Salvation; however, X-Men Origins: Wolverine shoves a big middle finger in everyone's face. This game wastes no time getting you into the action, and you'll be tearing off heads from the start. The story is definitely interesting, but it is not like the film (For the most part), and there are tons of flashbacks that keep you in the past. I didn't really like that, especially after the third time, because the flashback levels are not as fun. But present missions are a blast, and have some crazy moments I rather not mention in this review. I'll keep this short, try this game if you haven't already. The story is a fun experience, lunging at enemies is brutally awesome, and using your senses to detect invisible enemies is strangely cool. This game can be found for $10, and if you ask me, that's one hell of a deal.

Presentation: 8
Menu is slick, story is present (Different from movie), and slashing your way through the end has never been more fun.

Graphics: 8
One of the better looking games by Unreal Engine 3.

Sound: 8
Voice acting is definitely a miss (Especially Gambits), but the brutal, blood gushing slashing sounds, makes up for it.

Gameplay: 8.5
Slashing up people, ripping their limbs off, never gets old... especially since you can level up Wolverine for more powerful attacks.

Replay Value: 7.5
You're only playing this game for the campaign, and maybe some missed achievements. But for only $10, that's more than most games have to offer.
