awesome but a bit too long
I'll say that it's awesome and a fun game with the only problem being it's repetitive nature. I say play 2 levels, save at the beginning of the 3rd and than come back tomorrow.
I heard there's near 100 levels or so which I have to say is just really really long for a game of that age.
graphics - can't complain here, it's really old but the graphics are still awesome. I have to say that if you can appreciate a game from the 90's with these graphics than you deserve to have this game cheap.
sound - the sound is pretty good even by today's standards which can't be said for even some new age games. This is classic and it's always fun to listen to (for about 2 minutes)(there's not a whole lot of music)
gameplay - now the gameplay is really repetitive but fun. now you can't strafe, there's no upper or lower leveles, and the game is just a rat in a maze with a gun. Now The best part is the bosses who back then were just epic. Now I say again to play this game in moderation (like eating chocolate)
final feelings - repetitive but fun, it's classic and it's a game that needs to be played. it's also one of the first FPS games ever made so if you like halo, COD, or any of that stuff than you owe at least a little respect to this game... and doom.
