They made a great-looking NFS-game, but I wish they didn't "go up against people like Forza and GT". I mean, I miss the old NFS, still to this day. The "tuner cars"-direction was pretty great for 2 or 3 games and it died, I think then they should have brought it back to the roots in an original way. I played the heck out of the Demo of the first "The Need For Speed" and the second game "NFS II SE" and also "NFS III HP". It was so amazing to be able to race those exotics on the open roads, although they were tracks, they were very big and fast and exciting tracks with amazing views and things to see and a lot of variation and challenge. They should have merged the essence of the first games, the exotics, the settings, the speed and all that, with the gameplay of the later games and make it more open-world and more customizable and free and physics and all that fun stuff, especially going online. Also, I was probably one of the few who actually used the cockpit-view in the earliest games, I loved seeing the dashboard and the wheel and it gave me this feel like I was actually driving the car. And note, this was with pretty old graphics for today's standards, in low resolutions and 15" square monitors. It would have been amazing if they'd have brought back the essence of the "Need For Speed"-franchise and expanded upon it. But yeah... I guess this is what they need to do to be successful. But I KNOW they could have been more original... By the way, you make games for KIDS?... I highly disagree... You should make games for PEOPLE, because games are entertainment-media. Not that I couldn't put my grandfather behind a wheel, people know how to drive. so it doesn't make sense that "NFS" would be made for kids anyway... Games are accessible for anyone, it just depends what one is interested in, like a type of movie or music or TV-program.
